METHOD, APPARATUS FOR TEMPERATURE DETECTION AND WEARABLE DEVICE
Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a method for temperature detection. The method comprises obtaining a sensed temperature from a sensor, the sensor being in a mounted mode where the sensor is thermally radiated by a variable heat source and a fixed heat source; determining a temperature change rate of the sensor and at least one affecting factor that affects temperature sensing of the sensor; and determining a temperature of the variable heat source based on the sensed temperature, the temperature change rate, and the affecting factor. According to the method of the present disclosure, the temperature of the variable heat source such as an ambient temperature can be obtained or determined without a dedicated sensor and cables. With this method, the ambient temperature can be determined by a sensor for sensing a temperature of a heating element such as a battery, a control unit or the like. In this way, extra spaces and product designs for mounting a dedicated sensor for the ambient temperature are no longer needed, which reduces costs of the product. Furthermore, user experience can be improved without increasing costs.

A method for estimating the temperature of a stator coil of a magnetic suspension bearing of a rotor that is connected by connection wires to circuits for servo-controlling the position of the rotor includes the following steps: measuring the electric voltage at the terminals of the connection wires of the stator coil; measuring the intensity of the current passing through the stator coil; estimating the electric resistance of the stator coil and of the connection wires on the basis of an adaptive filter, the measured electric voltage and the intensity of the measured current; and estimating the temperature of the coil on the basis of the value of the estimated resistance.
METHOD FOR TEMPERATURE MEASUREMENT AND TEMPERATURE MEASURING ARRANGEMENT
A method for temperature detection and an electronic circuit for temperature detection are described. The method comprises providing a first temperature-dependent signal (Vctat) having a first temperature coefficient; providing a second temperature-dependent signal (Iptat) having a second temperature coefficient; generating a plurality of comparison signals (Vptat(1)-Vptat(n)) on the basis of the second temperature-dependent signal (Iptat), wherein each of the plurality of comparison signals Vptat(i)) represents a respective temperature (T(1)-T(n)); comparing the first temperature-dependent signal (Vctat) with at least one of the plurality of comparison signals (Vptat(1)-Vptat(n)); and outputting temperature information (TEMP) on the basis of the comparing.
Magnet temperature estimating device for motor and hybrid vehicle provided with the same
A magnet temperature estimating device for a motor including a rotor having magnets and configured to output a rotational motive force, and a stator having a plurality of coils opposing the rotor with a gap therebetween, is provided. The device includes a sensor configured to detect an induced voltage induced by rotation of the rotor, and a controller configured to control the motor by supplying power to the plurality of coils in response to an input of a detection signal from the sensor. Gaps adjacent to each magnet in a rotation direction of the rotor are formed in the rotor. The controller estimates a temperature of the magnet based on the induced voltage detected when the magnet opposes any one of the plurality of coils, according to the rotation of the rotor.

The present disclosure relates to a method for determining and/or monitoring the temperature of a medium by means of a thermometer having at least one temperature sensor, the method including: determining a measured value for the temperature of the medium by means of a temperature sensor; determining a heat flow, in particular heat dissipation, in the region of the temperature sensor; and determining a measured value deviation for the measured value for the temperature on the basis of a model for heat dissipation in the region of the temperature sensor.

A simultaneous location and mapping (SLAM)-enabled video game system, a user device of the video game system, and a computer-readable storage medium of the user device are disclosed. Generally, the video game system includes a video game console, a plurality of thermal beacons, and a user device communicatively coupled with the video game console. The user device includes a thermopile array, a processor, and a memory. The user device may receive thermal data from the thermopile array, the thermal data corresponding to a thermal signal emitted from a thermal beacon of the plurality of thermal beacons and detected by the thermopile array. The user device may determine, based on the thermal data, its location in 3D space, and then transmit that location to the video game system.
SEMICONDUCTOR DEVICE HAVING VARIABLE PARAMETER SELECTION BASED ON TEMPERATURE AND TEST METHOD
A semiconductor device that may include temperature sensing circuits is disclosed. The temperature sensing circuits may be used to control various parameters, such as internal regulated supply voltages, internal refresh frequency, or a word line low voltage. In this way, operating specifications of a semiconductor device at worst case temperatures may be met without compromising performance at normal operating temperatures. Each temperature sensing circuit may include a selectable temperature threshold value as well as a selectable temperature hysteresis value. In this way, temperature performance characteristics may be finely tuned. Furthermore, a method of testing the temperature sensing circuits is disclosed in which a current value may be monitored and temperature threshold values and temperature hysteresis values may be thereby determined.
PROCESS FLUID TEMPERATURE MEASUREMENT SYSTEM WITH IMPROVED PROCESS INTRUSION
A process fluid temperature measurement system includes a thermowell configured to couple to a process fluid conduit and extend through a wall of the process fluid conduit. A temperature sensor assembly is disposed within the thermowell and includes a first temperature sensitive element and a second temperature sensitive element. The first temperature sensitive element is disposed within the thermowell adjacent a distal end of the thermowell. The second temperature sensitive element is spaced apart from the first temperature sensitive element along a spacer having a known thermal conductivity. Transmitter circuitry is coupled to the first and second temperature sensitive elements and is configured to perform a heat flux calculation to provide a process fluid temperature output.
