The delivery devices further include a tension management device that is configured to limit the amount of tension that can be applied via the actuator to the at least one tension member. Certain embodiments are configured to apply different tension limits to different tension members that are controlled by a one or more actuators. Other various embodiments include one or more tension adjustors to selectively adjust one or more tension limits.
Sensor for tension measurement
A device includes a first sensor and a second sensor. The first sensor is configured to generate a first signal corresponding to a detected first force. The second sensor is configured to generate a second signal corresponding to a detected second force. The first force and the second force has a substantially common direction. The device includes a processor configured to determine a measure of tension using the first signal and using the second signal. The measure of tension corresponds to displacement of an elongate member.
Determining elongation of elastic bandage
The present invention is directed to new methods of determining elongation, tension and applied pressure of elastic bandages comprising tension indicators. In one embodiment, a computer-implemented method of detecting elongation of an elastic bandage (e.g. on a mobile computing device having a processor and graphical user interface) is described. The method comprises receiving image data that includes a digital photograph of an elongated tension indicator of an elastic bandage; analyzing the image data to determine elongation of the elastic bandage by comparing geometric features of the elongated tension indicator to model geometric features that define a predetermined elongation state (such as an unelongated state); and providing output indicia associated with the determined elongation. Also described are various articles, some of which are intermediate articles of the methods described herein. Such articles include non-transient computer readable medium, a three-dimensional member comprising at least one layer of certain elastic bandages. In one embodiment, the elastic bandage comprises a tension indicator and a computer readable code.
MEDICAL MANIPULATOR
A medical manipulator is provided with: a drive unit provided with a motor; a removable portion that is removably attached to the drive unit and that is provided with a rotating body to be connected to a rotating shaft of the motor; an elongated insertion portion coupled to the removable portion; a distal-end movable part disposed at a distal end of the insertion portion; a wire connecting the rotating body and the distal-end movable part and transferring tension generated by power of the motor to the distal-end movable part to actuate the distal-end movable part; a pressing member that is formed of an elastic material and that presses a longitudinal intermediate position of the wire in the wire diameter direction; and a sensor that is attached to the pressing member and that detects an elastic deformation amount caused in the pressing member according to the tension of the wire.
TESTING DEVICE FOR FLEXIBLE SCREEN
An apparatus for testing a flexible screen. The apparatus for testing a flexible screen includes a slide rail, a reel, a clamping module and a drive module. The reel is fixed to one end of the slide rail. The axial direction of the reel is perpendicular to the extension direction of the slide rail. The flexible screen includes a first end and a second end which are disposed opposite to each other. The reel is configured to fix the first end of the flexible screen and rotate to drive the flexible screen to fit to the reel and coil around the reel. The clamping module is configured to clamp the second end of the flexible screen. The reel is further configured to rotate to drive, through the flexible screen, the clamping module to slide along the slide rail towards the reel.

Disclosed delivery devices include a handle assembly including an actuator, an inner shaft assembly interconnected to the handle assembly, and are configured to releasably retain the stented prosthesis to the delivery device with at least one elongate tension member.
Composite loop chain
A settling basin of a wastewater treatment system includes a collector chain including chain links having a plurality of side bars, stepped connecting pins configured to join the plurality of side bars and including a first end including a head portion having a cross-sectional area larger than portions of the plurality of side bars through which the stepped connecting pin extends, end caps configured to receive second ends of the stepped connecting pins, and apertures defined in the end caps and second ends of the stepped connecting pins configured to receive a retaining element that holds the end caps in position on the second ends of the stepped connecting pins.
Non-surgical method and apparatus for treating carpal tunnel syndrome
A method includes providing a strap having a length enabled to encircle one side of a user's hand and tricep area when the user's elbow is bent at 90°, and creating a loop with the strap. The loop closing with a buckle, and positioning the inside of one end of the loop around a ventral or dorsal portion of a user's hand or fingers. A step is provided for positioning the inside flat surface of a second end of the loop around at an area at a back side of the user's upper arm, above the elbow, with the elbow bent at approximately 90 degrees. The strap is then tightened to achieve an effective stretch as determined by the user and the stretch may be held for a determined amount of time thereby increasing strength and flexibility and lessen pain in the user's hand, wrist and forearm.
Tensile force sensor for recording and monitoring physical exercise
The tensile force sensor comprises at least one strain gauge in a tension piece comprising a central rectilinear segment and two folds at an angle, significantly thicker than the central rectilinear segment. The strain gauge is arranged in said central rectilinear segment in such a manner that a traction force on the fastening ends of the tension piece results in a U-shaped buckling of the central rectilinear segment. The invention also comprises a processing module connected to the strain gauge, adapted to detect and process as data the elastic deformations caused in the central rectilinear segment by the longitudinal stresses generated by traction on the fastening ends of the tension piece. The invention allows a portable and low cost wireless sensor to be produced.
APPARATUS FOR MONITORING SAFETY OF TIE DOWN STRAPS
Apparatus for monitoring performance of tie down straps are disclosed. A tie down strap is attached to a strap monitor. The strap monitor continuously monitors the physical parameters of the tie down strap. Further, an electronic device communicatively coupled to the strap monitor receives physical parameters of the tie down strap from the strap monitor to determine performance of the tie down strap. Furthermore, upon determining any issues with the performance of the tie down strap, a user is alerted of the issue by the electronic device.
