Surgical Traction Tension Adjustment Device
The present invention discloses a surgical traction system with a hand gripped tension adjustment device that slidably mounts onto a boom structure. When activated the tension adjustment device moves down the boom structure and incrementally adjusts the tension in a traction rope. The boom structure attaches to a bracket assembly that mounts onto the short end of a surgical table.
System for line monitoring in an energy chain
A system for monitoring the state of a cable, which is guided in an energy chain between a base and a movable driver element. The movable energy chain forms a movable run at a driver element, a resting run at a base and, between the two runs, a deflecting bend. A monitoring device having at least one indicating element at the energy chain evaluates an indicating-element signal and monitors whether an error state occurs. The indicating element has two electrical indicating conductors guided by the energy chain, which indicating conductors extend along the movable run, and the monitoring device comprises a measuring circuit for resistance measurement or conductance measurement. One end point of each indicating conductor is connected to the measuring circuit and the other end points of the indicating conductors are short circuited such that the indicating conductors form a measurement loop.

Tensile testing machine and control method of tensile testing machine
A high-speed tensile testing machine conducts a tensile test on a test piece by applying a test force to the test piece. The high-speed tensile testing machine includes a detection unit configured to detect a test period indicating a time from when the test piece starts to deform under action of the test force to when the test piece breaks, and a determination unit configured to determine validity of a test result of the tensile test, on the basis of the test period and natural vibration of the high-speed tensile testing machine. Specifically, in the case where the test period is a predetermined multiple or more of a specific cycle indicating a cycle of the natural vibration of the high-speed tensile testing machine, the determination unit determines that the test result of the tensile test is valid.
CABLE SYSTEM FOR CABLE CONDITION MONITORING
The present disclosure relates to a cable system for cable condition monitoring, a use of such a cable system, a method for manufacturing such a cable system, a method for operating such a cable system and a computer program element for operating such a cable system. The cable system includes a first adapter unit, a first sleeve unit and a cable including at least a first end portion. The first adapter unit is connectable to an energy storage system and the cable is configured for transferring electric power to the first adapter unit. The first sleeve unit is arranged between the first adapter unit and the first end portion of the cable and configured for providing protection therebetween. The first sleeve unit includes a first sensor unit configured for generating data based on strain exerted on the first sleeve unit. The first sensor unit includes a first flexible electronic element extending at least partially to the first end portion of the cable.
Tension measuring system that determine tension on a fishing line
A tension measuring system is configured to determine tension on a fishing line. The tension measuring system includes a scale, joined between a rod and a reel. The reel is joined to the fishing line. The scale further includes a scale housing is rigidly attached to the rod. An internal housing is rigidly attached to the scale housing and connected to the reel with lubricant and ball bearings. A planar beam load cell is joined to the scale housing and the reel; wherein the tension on the fishing line causes deformation of the planar beam load cell. A microcontroller is electrically coupled to the planar beam load cell, a power management controller, and a display. The microcontroller uses planar beam load cell deformation to determine tension on the fishing line.
Monitoring system designed to extract critical natural frequencies of a cargo ship
A system includes several load cells, each coupled to a lashing that secures shipping containers, accelerometer cells, each coupled to a shipping container at the top of a stack, and an inclinometer cell coupled to a cargo ship. The cells are configured to transmit data to a computer. All the cells comprise a processor programmed to acquire a time series of measurements and, preferably, decompose the time series into a sum of sinusoidal signals, each having a frequency and an amplitude. Alternatively, the computer can be programmed to decompose the time series. The computer is programmed to identify the signal components caused by the roll of the cargo ship or by resonances in shipping container stacks. The computer estimates cumulated damages caused by fatigue in the lashings and/or twist locks. The system is used to trigger alarms and/or schedule maintenance.
Sports equipment comprising a guy line and a measuring apparatus fastened to the guy line
An item of sports equipment includes a guy line to which is applied a mechanical tension and which ensures the stability or the rigidity of the item of sports equipment. The sports equipment includes a measuring apparatus which is fastened to the guy line such that the guy line tension is applied to it, the measuring apparatus including a sensor adapted to deliver an electrical signal corresponding to representational information on the guy line tension. The measuring apparatus is fastened to the guy line all the time, making it possible to obtain representational information on the guy line tension at any instant.
