A tire characteristic value measurement apparatus (100) includes a support arm (124) which is provided in vertical movement means (111 to 121). The support arm (124) bears a tire (T) on a roller conveyor (101) from below and has electrically insulative properties. The tire characteristic value measurement apparatus (100) further includes electric resistance value detection means (125 to 139) which is provided in the vertical movement means (111 to 121). The electric resistance value detection means (125 to 139) detects an electric resistance value of the tire T borne by the support arm (124).
TIRE TESTING DEVICE
A tire testing device includes a road surface, and a carriage configured to rotatably hold a test wheel and traveling along the road surface. The carriage includes an alignment part configured to adjust wheel alignment of the test wheel. The alignment part includes a load adjusting part configured to adjust load acting on the test wheel. The load adjusting part includes a first movable frame movable up and down, a linear guide that guides the movement of the first movable frame, and a first driver that drives the first movable frame up and down. One of a rail and a traveling part of the linear guide is fixed to the first movable frame. The carriage includes a main frame having an alignment mechanism support part that accommodates the alignment part. The other of the rail and the traveling part is fixed to the alignment mechanism support part.

The invention concerns a system for evaluating the surface of a tyre (10), comprising: a region (21) for entry of the tyre into the system, a capture region, and an exit region (22), distinct from the entry region, means for moving (23) and for holding a tyre in position, means for illuminating the tyre allowing the illumination of a sidewall of the tyre and of the crown of a tyre in the capture region, means for acquiring a visual image of the tyre in the capture region, means for processing the acquired image, at least one acquisition means being installed on a shaft that is movable with respect to the tyre installed in the capture region.
Tire tester with tire holding units
A tire tester includes a plurality of tire holding units attached to a movable member or a towed member and each configured to detachably hold a tire, and one or more load measuring units for measuring a load acting on the tire. The plurality of tire holding units include a first tire holding unit configured to detachably hold a first tire, and one or more second tire holding units each configured to detachably hold a second tire. The second tire holding unit holds the second tire to generate a force opposite to a lateral component force generated by steering the first tire. The tire holding units are arranged such that at least one tire holding unit is disposed on each right and left side of the movable member or the towed member with respect to a center line passing through a lateral center thereof.

A tire conveying apparatus includes a conveyor for conveying a tire, a position sensor, and a controller for controlling the conveyor. The controller includes a determination unit which determines whether or not the tire is positioned within an allowable area for a reference area set in a conveyance path of the conveyor, based on a detection result of the position sensor, and a center conveyor control unit which drives the conveyor such that the tire is positioned within the allowable area, if a determination that the tire is not positioned within the allowable area is made.
Automobile tire burst simulation experiment device
Disclosed is an automobile tire burst simulation experiment device, which is fixed on a rim installed with an automobile tire. The automobile tire burst simulation experiment device comprises a pre-tightening triggering device, a retracting device, a storage battery and a controller, the tire burst simulation experiment device according to the present invention uses two drive motors to drive two sets of roller screw slide rails, so as to drive the breakdown device away from and close to the tire to achieve a simulated tire burst and rapid deflation. The experiment device has the characteristics of quick installation, low cost, strong versatility, and adjustable speed; the device can be applied to the tire burst experiment under different vehicle speeds and road conditions of various automobile models. The structure is simple and the simulation control accuracy is high. After the tire burst, the subsequent experiments of the vehicle are not affected.
METHOD AND TEST STAND FOR DETERMINING TIRE PROPERTIES
A method and test stand for determining tire properties of a vehicle tire which is rotatably positioned on a rim via a wheel bearing. The interior of vehicle tire is pressurized by a fluid and the vehicle tire is applied with a wheel load. The vehicle tire is accelerated to a final speed in accordance with a pre-determinable speed ramp. The vehicle tire, in accordance with a tire speed, undergoes an oscillation excitation and reacts to the oscillation excitation with an oscillation. The method includes continuously capturing an effective tire force of the vehicle tire in the wheel bearing, due to the oscillation, and creating a data set which shows the tire force over the tire speed and tire frequency, by applying a timing signal of the speed ramp to a Fourier transformation.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR CHECKING TYRES, IN A PROCESS AND IN A PLANT FOR MANUFACTURING TYRES FOR VEHICLE WHEELS
An apparatus and a method for checking tyres is described. The apparatus has a first check unit having an inlet for tyres and a plurality of check tools. The apparatus has a second check unit having an outlet for the tyres and a plurality of check tools. The apparatus has an overturning and transport device operatively interposed between the first check unit and the second check unit. The first check unit, the second check unit and the overturning and transport device define a check path configured to be traversed by each tyre step by step. The first check unit and the second check unit have the same check tools configured for executing the same checks on respective axial halves of the tyres.
SYSTEM FOR EVALUATING THE CONDITION OF A TIRE
The invention relates to a system for evaluating the condition of a tire, the system comprising a first housing placed on the ground and a device for detecting the wear of a tire when the tire passes over said first housing, said system further comprising a first device for detecting the presence of a tire over the first housing, and electronic means for activating the wear detecting device during the detection of the presence of a tire by the presence detecting device.
