Method and system to determine variations in a fluidic channel

A system is provided that includes a dart, a pressure sensor, and a controller communicatively coupled with the sensor. The dart is disposed in a fluidic channel. The dart has a main body and a flange extending from the main body and has a diameter greater than or equal to a diameter of the fluidic channel. When the dart translates within the fluidic channel and passes a location of a variation in the fluidic channel, the flange creates a pressure pulse. The pressure sensor measures the pressure pulse within the fluidic channel created by the dart. The controller determines the location of the variation based on the measured pressure pulse.

System and method for leakage mitigation

A leakage mitigation system includes a leakage detection device having a canister configured to: (i) contain a first reactant and a second reactant and, (ii) based on a volume of liquid leaked from a tank, allow the first reactant and the second reactant to react with each other to produce a gas. A shut-off valve coupled to an inlet pipe of the tank is configured to actuate between an open condition and a closed condition. Further, a conduit extending between the leakage detection device and the shut-off valve allows flow of the gas from the leak detection device to the shut off valve. In order to mitigate the leakage of water, the shut-off valve is actuated between the open condition and the closed condition based on the pressure exerted thereon by the flow of the gas.

The glass panel unit includes: a first glass panel; a second glass panel; a seal; an evacuated space; and a gas adsorbent. The seal with a frame shape hermetically bonds the first glass panel and the second glass panel to each other. The gas adsorbent is placed in the evacuated space. The gas adsorbent includes a getter. The gas adsorbent is visible through at least one of the first glass panel and the second glass panel. The gas adsorbent has properties of changing its color when adsorbing gas.

METHOD AND SYSTEM, USING A COLORIMETRIC INDICATOR, FOR DETECTING A POSSIBLE LOSS OF INTEGRITY OF A FLEXIBLE BAG FOR BIOPHARMACEUTICAL PRODUCT
20220178782 · 2022-06-09 · ·

Integrity of a flexible bag already filled with a biopharmaceutical fluid is verified by a receiving and controlling device. The first wall and a second wall, forming two opposite walls on both sides of a longitudinal axis of the bag, are in contact with the fluid and with two parallel restraining plates of the device, while test pressure is controlled. Additionally, an integrity/non-integrity indicator device that comprises a pair of covering walls is provided to be interposed between the bag walls and the restraining plates. A leak through the bag walls can be detected by a color change of at least one continuous colorimetric detection layer, integral with or included in the pair of covering walls. Such continuous colorimetric detection layer is included in a permeable or impregnable layer.

A liquid leak detection and prevention device comprised of a leak detection apparatus positioned near a water-dependent appliance to monitor for moisture due to a leak, and a leak prevention system connected to the leak detection apparatus in fluid communication with a water pipe attached to the water-dependent appliance and positioned in-line with the water pipe is disclosed.

Universal vacuum fitting clamp with torque control

A sealing system for establishing real time sealing between two flange members is provided. The sealing system includes a seal assembly disposed between the flange members. The seal assembly includes an o-ring seal component held between an outer seal component and an inner seal component. A clamp body including a first clamp arm and a second clamp arm receive the flange members and the seal assembly positioned between the flange members. A coupling device of the sealing system is used to apply torque to clamp arms to draw them each other resulting biasing the flange member toward each other to establish sealing. Each of the clamp arms includes at least one window opening to expose a portion of outer seal component that includes an indicator configured for displaying an identification feature of the o-ring seal component of the sealing assembly.

APPARATUS FOR DETERMINING OIL LEAKAGE AND ROBOT USING THE APPARATUS

ADVANCED SEALING STRUCTURE FOR LIQUID COOLING

A multi-layer seal formed with a first layer for visual detection of leak by incorporating coloring agent that is water soluble, a second layer for electrical detection of a leak by a sensor, the second layer incorporating disbursable agent which disburses into the water upon contacting water and causing a change in chemical, and/or electrical property of the water, and a third layer made of water swelling material which swells upon contact with water. The three layers may be arranged in an orientation wherein a leak would first reach the first layer, then reach the second layer, and lastly reach the swelling layer. The sealing layer arrangement may be correlated to the fluid flowing direction. The layers may form independent parts placed side-by-side or may be integrated into a single seal loop.
