Methods and systems for monitoring health of a valve
A method for monitoring health of a valve is presented. The method includes receiving an acoustic emission signal from a sensing device operatively coupled to the valve, selecting a region of interest signal in the acoustic emission signal, determining a plurality of current parameters based on the region of interest signal, and monitoring the health of the valve based on at least the plurality of current parameters, wherein the region of interest signal comprises acoustic emission data generated from initiation of an opening of the valve until the valve is partially opened.

FLUID CONSUMPTION METER AND LEAK DETECTION SYSTEM
A fluid consumption meter (50) configured to measure a flow rate of a fluid and with a noise detection module (40) for leak detection. Also having a control device with a bi-directional communication unit (60) and being configured to receive a leak detection control signal from an external device (100), to set the fluid consumption meter (50) into a leak detection mode upon reception of the leak detection control signal, and to start a noise measurement for leak detection in said leak detection mode and to transmit data from said noise detection module, an to a leak detection system.
System and method for detecting sewer lateral leaks
Sewer line and lateral inspections are made in order to detect leaks and improper connections, using steam injected into a section of sewer line. Thermal imaging of the vicinity indicates leaks and illegal connections.

SYSTEMS, METHODS AND APPARATUS FOR IN-SERVICE TANK INSPECTIONS
Systems, methods and apparatuses for inspecting a tank containing a flammable fluid are provided. The system includes a vehicle having a propeller, a latch mechanism, a pressure switch, and an inspection device. The system includes a control unit in communication with the propeller, the latch mechanism, and the inspection device, and electrically connected to the pressure switch. The control unit powers on responsive to the pressure switch detecting an ambient pressure greater than a minimum threshold. The control unit receives, from the latch mechanism, an indication of a state of the latch mechanism. The control unit determines that the cable used to lower the vehicle into the tank containing the flammable fluid is detached from the vehicle. The control unit commands the propeller to move the vehicle through the flammable fluid. The control unit determines a quality metric of a portion of the tank.

Methods, systems, and apparatuses are provided for detecting and determining conditions of and conditions within a fluid conduit.
LEAK DETECTION SYSTEM
A device and method for detecting water leaks in building structures relies on sonic and spectral density analyses of sound distortions caused by a subsurface water leak. Structurally, the device includes a microphone connected with a sound amplifier. Also included is a head set and/or a sound analyzer which are respectively connected with the amplifier. In this combination, the microphone is moved across a surface in the building structure to detect an audio signal that is indicative of a subsurface water leak. This audio signal is then aurally evaluated using the headset to identify a sound distortion relative to white noise, or it is visually evaluated by reference to a spectral density presentation of frequencies on the sound analyzer. Operationally, a location of the water leak is determined by moving the microphone along a search pattern of trace lines over the surface being searched until there is a meaningful response.
