The two-way outlet has a riser as a first outlet and a drain as a second outlet. A system and a method for taking samples of a fluid. In particular, the system includes a sample acquisition unit and at least one sample vessel, the sample acquisition unit is configured to provide a fluid and the at least one sample vessel is configured to receive and store a fluid. A fluid transfer is also possible between the sample acquisition unit and the at least one sample vessel. The intermediate storage dosing unit of the type mentioned is connected between the sample acquisition unit and the at least one sample vessel.

WATER SAMPLING IMMERSION PROBE

The present invention relates to a water sampling immersion probe (50) for continuously filtering a water sample from wastewater (14). The water sampling immersion probe (50) includes a distal coarse filter (60) with a porosity of 0.1 to 1.0 mm, a proximal fine filter (70) arranged downstream of the coarse filter (60) and having a porosity of less than 5.0 μm, and a sample suction opening (74) arranged downstream of the fine filter (70). The coarse filter (60) is arranged to not contact the fine filter (70).

A wastewater sampling device configured to collect, for sampling purposes, a portion of an effluent and/or of treated wastewater released by a wastewater treatment system. The wastewater sampling device comprises a base and sidewalls configured to receive and channel the effluent and/or treated wastewater into a collection well whereby said effluent and/or treated wastewater may be subsequently collected by means of a collection chimney. The wastewater sampling device may be installed at any depth underneath the wastewater treatment system, thus allowing for a collection of effluent and/or treated wastewater at different stages within the filtering process.

MODULAR SYSTEM FOR UPSTREAM WASTEWATER SAMPLING

Provided herein is a wastewater sampling system including: an inlet tube; an outlet port; a high-flow circuit fluidly coupling the inlet tube to the outlet port; a first pump, along the high-flow circuit, configured to pump wastewater through the high flow circuit; a sampling circuit, fluidly coupled to the high-flow circuit via a junction, comprising a solid waste filter fluidly coupled to the junction and a solid-phase extraction cartridge fluidly coupled to an outlet of the solid waste filter; a second pump along the sampling circuit; a controller configured to, during a sampling cycle at a first time, activate the first pump; at a second time, activate the second pump; and at a third time succeeding the second time by a sampling duration, deactivate the second pump.

A wastewater solid and/or liquid specimen/sample collection system provides continuous time sampling of a liquid source. The system includes an enclosure whose temperature is maintained within a temperature range for sample collection and storage. A sample collection container within the enclosure has an inlet for receiving intake liquid flow containing the sample being collected. An intake liquid conduit in fluid connection with the enclosure/container has a second end submerged into the liquid source. A pump provides an inlet connector in fluid connection with the intake liquid conduit. A controller communicatively coupled to an electrical motor of the pump transmits a pump activation signal with pump speed and length of time for sample collection, which activates the pump to initiate suction at the inlet connector. The pump suctions intake liquid at a flow rate that allows continuous sampling of the liquid source over an entirety of the length of sampling time.
