An information processing device (200A, 200B, and 200C) according to the present disclosure includes a control unit (220, 220B, and 220C). The control unit (220, 220B, and 220C) acquires a captured image of a target imaged by a sensor. The captured image is an image obtained from reflected light of light emitted to the target from a plurality of light sources arranged at different positions, respectively. The control unit (220, 220B, and 220C) extracts a flat region from the captured image based on a luminance value of the captured image. The control unit (220, 220B, and 220C) calculates shape information regarding a shape of a surface of the target based on information regarding the sensor and the flat region of the captured image.

A method for determining an optical pathlength through a cuvette of a spectrophotometric apparatus includes obtaining a first single beam spectrum of a liquid zero-material at least in a first energy region in which the liquid zero-material absorbs at least a portion of incident optical radiation; obtaining a second single beam spectrum of a second liquid at least in the first energy region, the second liquid having a composition excluding the liquid zero-material and having no absorption of incident optical radiation in the first energy region; determining a dual beam spectrum of the liquid zero-material relative to the second liquid at least in the first energy region from the first and second single beam spectra; and calculating an optical pathlength through the cuvette based on processing spectral information obtained from the first energy region of the determined dual beam spectrum.

REFRACTORY ANCHOR DEVICE AND SYSTEM

Refractory anchoring devices include a main body and a mounting feature for mounting to a thermal vessel. The main body has the shape of two end-to-end Y's forming a central segment, branch segments extending from ends of the central segment, and extension segments extending from the branch segments, to collectively form four unenclosed cell openings that are semi-hexagonally shaped. Some embodiments include reinforcement segments extending into respective cell openings, voids extending through respective adjacent branch and extension segments, an underbody gap under the central segment, a single stud-welding stud for the mounting feature, and/or a collar-and-stud connection between the anchor main body and a stud-welding stud of the mounting feature. Refractory anchoring systems and methods include an array of the refractory anchoring devices arranged and mounted so that the unenclosed semi-hexagonal cell openings of adjacent anchoring devices cooperatively form substantially hexagonal cells.
