The analytical column is in fluid communication with the guard column and is disposed in an analytical column coil. The detector is in fluid communication with the analytical column. The analytical column coil has an analytical column coil central axis aligned with a central axis of the heater assembly, and the guard column coil has a guard column coil central axis remote from the central axis of the heater assembly.

A method of making Lu-177 involving dissolving enriched Yb.sub.2O.sub.3, loading dissolved enriched Yb.sub.2O.sub.3 on a first guard column containing resin prepared from (2-ethyl-1-hexyl)phosphonic acid mono(2-ethyl-1-hexyl)ester (HEH[EHP]), passing a first separation of a stream exiting from first guard column through a first resin cartridge containing dipentyl pentylphosphonate, collecting Lu-177 onto a first collection column having resin containing tetraoctyl diglycolamide (DGA), loading an exiting stream from first collection column on a second guard column containing resin prepared from (2-ethyl-1-hexyl)phosphonic acid mono(2-ethyl-1-hexyl)ester (HEH[EHP]); passing a first separation of a stream exiting from second guard column through a second resin cartridge containing dipentyl pentylphosphonate; collecting Lu-177 onto a second collection column having resin containing DGA; passing a second separation of a stream exiting from second guard column through a third resin cartridge containing dipentyl pentylphosphonate; and collecting Lu-177 having passed through the third resin cartridge onto a third collection column having resin containing DGA.

A detection cassette for detecting a sample is provided. The sample includes a first component and a second component. The detection cassette includes a sample injection hole, first and second separation tanks communicated with the sample injection hole, and first and second detection tanks communicated with the first and second separation tanks. A part of the sample enters the first separation tank from the sample injection hole and separated into the first component and the second component in the first separation tank. Another part of the sample enters the second separation tank from the sample injection hole and separated into the first component and the second component in the second separation tank. The first component separated in the first separation tank flows to the first detection tank and the second component separated in the second separation tank flows to the second detection tank for detections. A detection system is provided.

Disposable horizontal or radial flow type chromatographic column

A liquid chromatography column, utilizing horizontal or radial flow of sample material passing there through, includes a housing defining a chamber therein, at least one removable screw lid, and first and second longitudinally extending porous frits positioned within the chamber. A bed or packing of particulate, chromatographic separation material is positioned within the chamber and intermediate the porous frits, the first of the porous frits being adjacent the housing and an inlet channel, the second of the porous frits being positioned adjacent a core member and an outlet channel. A distributor is operatively connected to the inlet channel, and a collector is connected to the outlet channel. The distributor and the inlet channel are constructed to direct associated material to be separated in the bed evenly across a longitudinal length of the bed in a horizontal direction.
