Apparatus, method, and system for indication of an oxidative treatment
An indicator and method of use thereof, and indicator system and method of use thereof are provided to determine the degree of an oxidative treatment. An indicator is incorporated into the oxidative treatment. The object and the indicator are subjected to the oxidative treatment. A discoloration of the indicator occurs based on an oxidation of the polymer by a process condition of the oxidative treatment oxidizing the polymer. The discoloration of the indicator is measured against a threshold color value to determine the degree of the oxidative treatment.
Compositions and methods for use in surface decontamination
The disclosure provides compositions and methods for making a colorized solution of an aqueous disinfectant that is both stable in bulk solution and will fade to clear within a predetermined period of time after being applied to a surface, for example as a spray or film. The compositions and methods described here allow an end user to visualize both the extent of coverage and the duration of contact of the disinfectant with the surface, thereby providing more efficient disinfection of the surface.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR TRACKING MEDICAL INSTRUMENTS CLEANING AND STERILIZATION
Methods and systems for tracking a cassette containing one or more instruments in an instrument reprocessing are provided. A method for tracking an cassette housing one or more instruments in an instrument reprocessing, comprising: sterilizing, at a sterilizer, the cassette; receiving, at a server, a chemical indicator identification encrypted by a private key after the cassette is sterilized; decrypting, at the server, the chemical indicator identification with a corresponding public key; and in response to decryption of the chemical indicator identification, authenticating, at the server, the chemical indicator identification.
CHEMICAL INDICATOR
This invention relates to a chemical indicator, comprising: a non-cellulosic backing layer; a non-cellulosic cover layer overlying the backing layer; the backing layer and/or the cover layer comprising a gas permeable polymeric film; a non-cellulosic wicking material positioned between the backing layer and the cover layer; a dye composition positioned between the backing layer and the cover layer and in contact with or nearly in contact with the wicking strip, the dye composition comprising an indicator dye which changes color in the presence of hydrogen peroxide, and a base medium, which melts at a temperature in the range from about 45° C. to about 65° C.; the cover layer including a transparent portion to permit observation of the wicking material; and an adhesive for adhering the cover layer to the backing layer. The chemical indicator may be referred to as a moving front chemical indicator. A process for conducting a vaporous hydrogen peroxide (VHP) sterilization process using the foregoing chemical indicator is disclosed.
Ethylene oxide treatment indicator, label and method of use
The present invention provides an indicator useful in confirming successful sterilisation and/or nucleic acid decontamination by ethylene oxide (EtO) treatment. The invention also provides a label comprising said indicator and methods for use of the indicator and label in a method of EtO treatment.
CHEMICAL INDICATOR STRIP FOR DISINFECTION
A chemical indicator strip for detecting disinfectant that includes a film substrate, and an indicator portion with a first and a second ink. The first and the second ink can react in the presence of a threshold level of disinfectant for a threshold level of exposure time. The chemical indicator strip can be used in a method of detecting a threshold level of disinfectant. The method can include exposing a chemical indicator strip to a concentration of disinfectant for a preset amount of time. The method can include providing a visual indicator to a user that changes from a first color to a second color. The method can indicate that the chemical indicator strip has been exposed to a threshold concentration of disinfectant for a threshold amount of time when a complete color change occurs on the chemical indicator strip from the first color to the second color.
METHOD FOR STERILIZING, CERTIFICATING AND TRACING OF LIQUID NITROGEN
A method of sterilisation, certification and traceability of liquid nitrogen, includes the steps of preparing a container, provided with an opening, in use, at the top, and pouring into it a batch of liquid nitrogen to be sterilised; providing an identification element uniquely associable with the batch of liquid nitrogen, said identification element including an indicator of the sterilisation state of the batch contained in said container configured to modify its appearance following exposure to ultraviolet radiation; associating the identification element with the container of the batch of liquid nitrogen to be sterilised, positioning it in a portion of said container, adjacent to said opening; carry out a batch sterilisation treatment through exposure to ultraviolet radiation for a predetermined period of time, to modify at least one characteristic of the indicator to certify the sterilisation of the batch.
RESPONSIVE PHOTONIC COATING
The present invention relates to a responsive photonic coating and to a substrate provided with such a responsive photonic coating. The present invention also relates to a sensor. An object of the present invention is to provide a responsive photonic coating that can be used for simultaneously measuring the exposure to high temperature and steam, such as in an autoclave.
