CONNECTION CABLE WITH VOLTAGE LEVEL INDICATOR
Systems and methods are disclosed for determining an input voltage level of an input voltage received by a connection cable. A monitoring component may determine whether the input voltage level matches one of a plurality of voltage levels. The connection cable may include an indicator component that may indicate which of the plurality of voltage levels matches the input voltage level.
System and method for performing lossless compressed serial decoding
A system and method are provided for displaying input signals from a DUT on a display screen. The method includes sending a data stream of digitized data received from the DUT to an FPGA for serial decoding; receiving decoded symbols from the FPGA; identifying valid symbols among the decoded symbols indicating transitions between the decoded symbols; storing the valid symbols with corresponding time-tags as valid packets in memory, and discarding ones of the decoded symbols occurring between the valid symbols; and plotting on the display screen the valid packets occurring between beginning and ending valid packets of the stored valid packets. The beginning valid packet has a corresponding time-tag occurring immediately before a first point time-tag associated with a left edge of the display screen, and the ending valid packet has a corresponding time-tag occurring at or immediately before a last point time-tag associated with a right edge of the display screen.
TERMINATION TRIGGER PICK-OFF FOR REMOTE HEAD SAMPLER
A test and measurement device includes an input port to receive an input signal, a sampling circuit structured to generate a sample from the input signal, in which generating the sample from the input signal produces an amount of kickout energy, and an energy reducing circuit coupled between the sampling circuit and one or more other components of the test and measurement device, the energy reducing circuit structured to decrease the amount of kickout energy from the sampling circuit. The energy reducing circuit may include or be combined with a pick-off circuit. Methods are also described.
Apparatus for providing a test signal from a device under test (DUT) to a measurement instrument
An apparatus for providing a test signal from a device under test (DUT) to a measurement instrument is disclosed. The apparatus includes a probe head configured to receive an electrical signal from the DUT. The probe head includes an electro-optic modulator. The apparatus also includes a control box, which includes an optical source. The optical source is configured to provide an input optical signal to the electro-optic modulator, which is configured to provide an output optical signal based on the electrical signal from the DUT. The control box also includes an optical bias control circuit. Only a bias control signal is provided to the electro-optic modulator.
Display device and inertial measurement system
An inertial measurement system includes three acceleration sensors detecting along three orthogonal axes, a display having several display areas, and a processor programed to perform a process. The processor calculates frequencies and spectral intensities of vibrations based on detected time series accelerations by three acceleration sensors and obtains relationship values between the calculated frequencies and the calculated spectral intensities. The processor causes the display to successively display an N-th value, intermediate values, and an (N+1)-th value of the relationship values at one display area in time series.
System and method for handling and charting data obtained by an inspection vehicle
A method and system for acquiring, manipulating and displaying inspection data obtained by sensors associated with submersible inspection vehicle within a housing having a liquid medium is disclosed in the present application. A control system including an electronic controller is operably coupled with the inspection vehicle and is configured to display data transmitted from the sensor and overlay input data from an operator on the display to facilitate real time analysis during the inspection event.
SENSOR DEVICE AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE FOR ACQUIRING INFORMATION FROM SENSOR DEVICE
According to various embodiments, a sensor device may comprise: an energy harvester configured to generate electrical energy; an energy storage circuit configured to store the generated electrical energy; a monitoring circuit; a sensor; a communication circuit; and at least one processor, wherein the at least one processor is configured to identify a voltage of the energy storage circuit through the monitoring circuit, operate in a first mode in response to identification that the voltage is equal to or lower than a threshold value, operate in a second mode which consumes more power than the first mode, in response to identification that the voltage exceeds the threshold value, acquire a sensing value through the sensor according to a sensing scheme corresponding to one of the first mode and the second mode, and control the communication circuit to transmit the voltage and the sensing value to another electronic device according to the communication scheme corresponding to one of the first mode and the second mode. Various other embodiments are possible.

A photonic integrated circuit including a substrate, a plurality of oxide layers on the substrate, and various passive and active integrated optical components in the plurality of oxide layers. The integrated optical components include silicon nitride waveguides, a Pockets effect phase shifter (e.g., BaTiO.sub.3 phase shifter), a superconductive nanowire single photon detector (SNSPD), an optical isolation structure surrounding the SNSPD, a single photon generator, a thermal isolation structure, a heater, a temperature sensor, a photodiode for data communication (e.g., a Ge photodiode), or a combination thereof.
PEAK SELECTION ASSISTANCE FOR RF SPECTRUM ANALYSIS
In order to improve the analysis of the RF interferences, there is provided a peak selection assistance method for finding a local peak in an RF spectrum trace. The method provides a window on the spectrum trace display, which can be configured and/or moved by a user from user interaction on said user interface. When the window is defined, the method finds the highest peak within the window and optionally adds a marker on it. The method therefore snaps to the highest peak within the window. This improves the way of precisely detecting the maximum amplitude and the center frequency for any local peak on the spectrum.
Display Device and Inertial Measurement System
A display device includes a display unit displaying a first two-dimensional display showing a frequency and a spectral intensity of a vibration at the frequency. In the first two-dimensional display, at least one measurement value of a first measurement value in a first direction, a second measurement value in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction, and a third measurement value in a third direction orthogonal to the first direction and the second direction, and a composite value of the first measurement value, the second measurement value, and the third measurement value, are displayed as superimposed on each other. As each of the at least one measurement value and the composite value, an N-th measurement value corresponding to an N-th time, an (N+1)th measurement value corresponding to an (N+1)th time, and m-1 intermediate values generated between the N-th measurement value and the (N+1)th measurement value by dividing a period between the N-th time and the (N+1)th time into m parts, are successively displayed in order of the N-th measurement value, the intermediate value, and the (N+1)th measurement value.
