VOLTAGE SAMPLER AND SOLID-STATE TRANSFORMER

This application provides a voltage sampler and a solid-state transformer. The voltage sampler includes a conductive housing, at least one sampling board located inside the housing, and a conducting layer. Each sampling board includes at least two resistors and a voltage input end. The resistors in the sampling board are electrically connected in sequence in the direction from a first end to a second end. The resistor at the first end is electrically connected to the voltage input end. The resistor at the second end is electrically connected to the housing, and the housing is electrically connected to a fixed potential end. The conducting layer is disposed between the at least one sampling board and the housing in the voltage sampler. The conducting layer is electrically connected to a resistor in the sampling board.

The one or more power quality sensors are clamp-on power quality sensors configured to provide one or more power quality analysis measurements when the clamp-on power quality sensors are clamped onto the outside of or arranged in the proximity of the multiconductor cable. The clamp-on power quality sensors are configured to provide the one or more power quality analysis measurements without being electrically connected to any of the conductors of the multiconductor cable.

An arrangement for determining a magnitude of an electrical current flowing through a busbar. The arrangement has a measurement conductor which is electrically connected at a first contact point to the busbar and which extends from the first contact point to a second contact point. A third contact point is located on the busbar at a spacing distance from the first contact point. A voltage measurement device is configured to measure a voltage between the second contact point and the third contact point. The arrangement also has a controlled current source which is configured to introduce a measurement current into the measurement conductor.

A wireless tracking device includes circuit components, a battery, and a circuit connecting the circuit components and the battery. The circuit components include a first wireless communication system, a processor, a memory or storage, and a first sensor operable to measure conditions of the wireless tracking device. The wireless tracking device is configured to attach to an overhead electrical line and detect failure events that are experienced by the overhead electrical line based on sensor data monitored by the wireless tracking device.

The devices, systems, and methods transmit a version of the marker signal across the isolation barrier and receiving a signal comprising the transmitted version of the marker signal. The devices, systems, and methods verify the integrity of the signal path based on the received signal.

Active current monitor

A current monitor for a transmission line having powered active components is provided. A current monitor includes: a housing configured to be coupled to a transmission line, an inductive current sensor in the housing configured to measure a value of the current on the transmission line to generate a sensor signal, a power source, and a sensor signal conversion circuit in the housing configured to receive power from the power source and to generate a current output signal based on the sensor signal, the current output signal having a natively useful form.

Method of forming a semiconductor device

In one embodiment, a method of forming a semiconductor device may include forming a sense resistor to receive a high voltage signal and form a sense signal that is representative of the high voltage signal. An embodiment of the sense resistor may optionally be formed overlying a polysilicon resistor. The method may also have an embodiment that may include forming a plurality of capacitors in parallel to portions of the sense resistor wherein the plurality of capacitors are connected together in series.

Therefore, a voltage detection circuit, a power transmission device, and a power transmission system capable of detecting an alternating-current voltage with high detection sensitivity irrespective of the potential of a power transmission line are provided.

In one embodiment, the FM modulator includes a variable capacitor which varies in response to a voltage in parallel to a fixed capacitor and an inductor in parallel to the capacitors.
