Removing perturbation signal from a serial data stream, and to measurement and/or protection apparatus including same

An apparatus is provided which substantially removes a perturbation signal from a pulse density modulated signal representing a combination of a signal to be measured and a perturbation applied to the signal to be measured. The removal of the perturbation is done by subtracting a correcting signal from the pulse density modulated signal. This approach introduces very little delay as it can be implemented by simple logic gates. It also provided enhanced immunity from the effects of bit errors.

ENERGY IDENTIFICATION METHOD FOR MICRO-ENERGY DEVICE BASED ON BP NEURAL NETWORK

The present disclosure provides an energy identification method for a micro-energy device based on back propagation (BP) neural network, which includes the following steps: S1, sampling a dynamic voltage of a micro-energy device in an open-circuit state to obtain an original voltage signal, and denoising the original voltage signal by an adaptive threshold wavelet transform; S2, extracting an R wave peak value of the denoised voltage signal so as to obtain model input data; S3, establishing a BP neural network model, inputting data to train the model, and stopping training when a training error is smaller than a preset value, to obtain a qualified BP neural network model; and S4, identifying a to-be-identified voltage signal by using the BP neural network model obtained in the step S3. According to the present disclosure, accurate and rapid energy identification and classification can be carried out, and the classification result is reliable.

Power rail noise monitoring to detect attempted security tampering or side channel attacks

An apparatus and method for detecting a change in electrical properties in a system is disclosed. Embodiments of the disclosure enable the detection of a change in electrical properties in a system by, in response to a load generated on a power delivery network power in at least part of the system, measuring noise induced in the power delivery network in response to the load. Based on the measured noise, a dynamic-response property of the power delivery network is determined and the dynamic-response property is compared to a stored reference dynamic-response property of the power delivery network based on a predetermined load. In the event of a difference between the dynamic-response property and the reference dynamic-response property, a response to the event is triggered to indicate tampering with the power delivery network.

The present invention provides a partial-discharge measurement method in which a partial-discharge defect signal and noise are separated, a partial-discharge defect position is detected, and the risk of a detected partial discharge defect is diagnosed. Further, this method provides a highly reliable high-voltage device. An electromagnetic wave generated by a sample is simultaneously measured by a plurality of sensors. A partial discharge and noise are separated through the comparison of the spatial intensity distribution of measured signals and a spatial signal intensity distribution measured beforehand at the time of the occurrence of a partial discharge, and a defect position is detected using a peak position. Further, the risk of a defective site is diagnosed on the basis of a simultaneously measured charge amount signal.
