The first lockable joint is configured to be tightened to yieldably hold the first earpiece at the selected pitch and yaw angles, and at the selected one of the plurality of distances, relative to the reference position. Optionally a second substantially similar earpiece and assembly are provided. The earpiece(s) optionally include audio transducer(s) and/or RF coil(s).
Cable Arrangement for Use in a Magnetic Resonance Local Coil
An antenna of a cable arrangement is provided for use in an MR local coil. An MR local coil with such a cable arrangement and a method for producing such a cable arrangement are provided. The cable arrangement includes an electrical conductor, which may have a material with a high electrical conductivity, such as copper for instance. The cable arrangement, in particular the electrical conductor, is embodied in a wavelike manner (e.g., the cable arrangement has a waveform).
Patient table assembly
A patient table comprises: a curved base plate, a support face arranged over the curved base plate's concave side, a planar table top removable placed over the support face surface and the planar table top having a flat support surface opposite form the support face; the planar table top being contiguous to the support face. In particular in the patient table assembly with longitudinal sides (a) longitudinal groove(s) are provided along one or both the longitudinal sides in the flat support surface and at the longitudinal groove(s) indentations, in particular notches, are provided in the flat support surface and transverse to the groove(s).
Systems for a radio frequency coil for MR imaging
Various methods and systems are provided for a flexible, lightweight and low-cost stretchable radio frequency (RF) coil of a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) system. In one example, a RF coil assembly for a MRI system includes a loop portion comprising distributed capacitance conductor wires, a coupling electronics portion including a pre-amplifier; and a stretchable material to which the loop portion and coupling electronics portion are attached and/or enclosed therein.
Orthogonal element decoupling for moveable coil arrays in MRI
A head coil assembly includes a housing with a lower portion, an upper portion, a left portion, and a right portion, wherein each portion includes two or more radio-frequency (RF) coils, wherein the portions are sized and shaped to adjustably conform to a curvature of the subject's head for magnetic resonance (MR) imaging of the subject's head placed inside the housing, wherein the portions are operable to transition from an open position where the portions are sufficiently apart from each other to a closed position where the portions are adjusted to tighten a wrap around the subject's head along the curvature, and wherein the two or more RF coils in each portion are disposed in such manner that when the portions are operated to transition from the open position to the closed position, the RF coils of each portion remain decoupled to each other even along edges of each portion.
Systems and methods for magnetic resonance imaging
The present disclosure provides a system. The system may include a medical device, a couch, one or more imaging devices, and a control device. The medical device may include a cavity. The couch may be configured to support a subject. The one or more imaging devices may be configured to acquire image data. The image data may indicate at least one of a target portion of the subject or posture information of a user. The control device may be configured to control a movement of the couch based on at least one of position information of the target portion of the subject or the posture information of the user.
DEVICE FOR ANATOMICAL SENSING SYSTEM-GUIDED ENDORECTAL PROSTATE BIOPSY
An anatomical sensing system-guided prostate procedure device that includes a housing having a proximal end and a distal end. The housing may be divided into a distal housing section, amid housing section, and a proximal housing section, wherein the distal housing section is configured for insertion into the anus and retention in the rectum of a subject. The device further includes an instrument convergence point disposed between the proximal end and the distal end, the convergence point configured to allow an instrument pass though the instrument convergence point at a variable angle; and an instrument angle orienting system at the proximal end of the housing, the angle orienting system directing an orientation of the variable angle about the convergence point. Methods of the using an anatomical sensing system-guided prostate procedure device and system including the same.
COMFORTABLE MRI RECEIVER COIL SYSTEM CAPABLE OF SUPPORTING ULTRASOUND, DIAGNOSTIC, THERAPEUTIC, AND INTERVENTIONAL IMPLEMENTS
A wearable, open and pliable conforming MRI receiver coil system having an assembly of MRI imaging coils, each configured in a framework to simultaneously apply or position MRI receiver antennae and medical implements such as ultrasound transducers against the skull or skin of a patient. The system is configured to perform an MRI imaging and operation of the one or more medical implements simultaneously.

Various systems and methods are provided for radio frequency coil assemblies for a magnetic resonance imaging system. In one example, a method comprises: flowing air through a plurality of airflow passages formed in a radio frequency (RF) coil assembly for a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) system; and receiving magnetic resonance (MR) signals from an RF coil array of the RF coil assembly, wherein the RF coil array comprises a plurality of RF coil elements, each RF coil element having a loop portion which comprises two distributed capacitance wire conductors encapsulated and separated by a dielectric material.
Damping Mechanism, RF Coil Device and MRI Apparatus
The present invention provides a damping mechanism comprising a first member comprising a base section, a resilient damping section and an enclosed chamber defined by the base section and an inner surface of the resilient damping section. The resilient damping section is centered about a rotation axis and the enclosed chamber is provided radially inward of the resilient damping section and configured to accommodate a deformation of the resilient damping section. A second member is attached pivotably to the base section of the first member to rotate around the rotation axis relative to the base section. A damping protrusion extends from the second member toward the resilient damping section. The resilient damping section comprises an outer surface facing away from the enclosed chamber which is configured to be engaged with the damping protrusion to produce the deformation of the resilient damping section and provide a damping to the rotation of the second member relative to the base section. According to the present invention, the damping mechanism is simple in structure and easy to manufacture and assemble.
