System and process to passively determine the 3-dimensional position, the course line and the speed of a signal source
A system and process determine the 3-dimensional position, the course line and possibly the speed of an energy source. Embodiments use an antenna array system that includes receiver transducers positioned to form an equilateral triangle with a receiver transducer at each point of the triangle. Each transducer is independent, and there may be no electrical connection between each transducer in the antenna array. Each transducer may be connected directly to a computer for signal analysis to provide for case decision and display of the appropriate information and steps to follow to determine the appropriate action required by the computer operator. By detection of a single signal from a sound or light source, the 3-dimensional position and a course line of that signal source can be determined under certain circumstances.
Device, System and Method of Adaptive Autonomy with Sensor Swarming
A sensing and transmitting system and method of using same, including a plurality of acoustically transmitting sensor (ATS) devices having a sensor, a housing, and a transmitter that, together, converts a physical quantity of the fluid body into a responsive signal measurable over long distances underwater by a central receiving node. The node having a receiver or receiver array, a controller and typically a logger. The signals sent by the ATS are modulated according to the sensor's measured parameter and in a manner known to and decodable by the node. This system may further have an autonomous node and the modulated signals of the plurality of ATS may influence the behaviour of the node.
RADIONAVIGATION FOR SWIMMERS
Methods, systems and computer program products for radionavigation for swimmers are described. A mobile device configured to estimate a location using radio frequency signals can estimate a position of the swimmer when the mobile device is worn on a limb of the swimmer and periodically submerged. The mobile device can supply auxiliary information to a radionavigation subsystem to correct a navigation solution affected by limb motion of the swimmer and affected by the periodic submersion of the mobile device.
NAVIGATION SYSTEM FOR UNDERWATER VEHICLES
Embodiments of the present invention provide a navigation system which, on the one hand, is arranged on sides of the underwater vehicle/AUV and, on the other hand, includes a surface transmitter as a counterpart. The two units communicate with each other such that the surface transmitter emits its signal directed to the position of the underwater vehicle and/or that the surface transmitter follows the underwater vehicle to improve the position determination capability.
SEAMLESSLY TRACKING A WATER VESSEL USING SATELLITE AND MOBILE DATA
A system and a method are disclosed for enabling seamlessly tracking a location of a water vessel by supplementing satellite data with mobile data location based on proximity of a water vessel to shore. The system receives a Global Positioning System (GPS) location of the water vessel, the GPS location of the water vessel based on using the satellite data of the water vessel. The system determines that the GPS location is within a threshold distance of a boundary. Responsive to determining that the GPS location is within the threshold distance of the boundary, the system initiates monitoring for a mobile signal emanating from a trajectory path of the water vessel. The system detects, during the monitoring, the mobile signal, the tracking the location of the water vessel based on mobile data of the mobile signal. The system provides the tracked location to a monitoring device.

METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR VALIDATING LOCATION OF VESSEL
A vessel location validation method and apparatus are provided. The vessel location validation method includes receiving a wireless signal from a vessel, acquiring location information of the vessel from the received wireless signal, and determining whether the acquired location information is valid based on the acquired location information and a signal strength of the received wireless signal.
APPARATUS, METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR DETERMINING SPEEDING OF VESSEL BASED ON ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
Provided are an apparatus, a method, and a system for determining speeding of a vessel. According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, the method may include: receiving, by sound signal receiving apparatuses installed at at least two points, a sound signal of a first vessel operating at a preset section; extracting operation vibration information of the first vessel from each sound signal received by the sound signal receiving apparatuses installed at the at least two points; measuring an operation speed of the first vessel from each of the received sound signals; and constructing a database including operation speed range information matching the operation vibration information of the first vessel.
