Optics for vehicle occupant monitoring systems
A focusing optical part, including a plastic body, suitable for being delivered on a tape and reel and mounted on a PCB by an automated mounting machine, the plastic body including a concave mirror including a center aperture input surface through which light enters the plastic body, a convex mirror opposite the center aperture, wherein the concave mirror and the convex mirror form a reflective objective that reflects and focuses the light inside the plastic body, and an exit surface surrounding the convex mirror, through which focused light exits the plastic body.
Korsch telescope
An anastigmat Korsch telescope with three aspherical mirrors includes a bearing structure having a first face to which the first mirror is attached, a hollow structure of a shape elongated in a direction substantially perpendicular to the plane of the central aperture, limited by walls attached to the inside of which are the second mirror in a portion of the hollow structure located in front of the first mirror, and at least one other mirror selected from the third mirror and the at least one deflecting mirror, the walls having at least one first aperture so as to allow a light beam to pass through coming from the object originating from the first mirror and heading toward the second mirror, the bearing structure further comprising means of attachment of the hollow structure to the bearing structure, at least one structure selected from the hollow structure and the bearing structure having a portion traversing the central aperture.
Compact transform optics for spectral beam combining
Spectral beam combining systems including a multi-element transform optic. In certain examples the multi-element transform optic includes a first cylindrical optical element having positive optical power in a first axis, a second optical element having negative optical power in the first axis, and a third toroidal optical element having positive optical power in the first axis and either positive or negative optical power in a second axis that is orthogonal to the first axis. The first and third optical elements are positioned on opposite sides of the second optical element and equidistant from the second optical element. The multi-element transform optic has an optical path length extending between a front focal plane and a back focal plane that is shorter than an effective focal length of the multi-element transform optic.
Component for a projection exposure apparatus
A component for a projection exposure apparatus includes a printed circuit board arranged in an encapsulated housing and having electronic component parts, and a heat conducting structure for dissipating heat from the electronic component parts to an outer side of the housing.
Compact telescope having a plurality of focal lengths and compensated by aspherical optical components
A three-aspherical-mirror anastigmat telescope comprises means for moving the third mirror linearly along the optical axis of the telescope so as to make the focal length of the telescope change to a plurality of focal lengths between at least a minimum focal length and a maximum focal length, a plurality of aspherical optical components respectively associated with the plurality of focal lengths, the third mirror having a new conicity determined from an initial conicity, the new conicity being determined so that the telescope has, in the absence of the aspherical components and for the minimum and maximum focal lengths, aberrations that are compensable by the aspherical components, the position and the form of the surface of each aspherical component being determined so as to correct the compensable aberrations of the telescope for the associated focal length and to optimize image quality in the first focal plane of the telescope according to a preset criterion.
Immersed dichroic optical relay
An optical element includes a refractive material, a plurality of relay curvatures, and dichroic relay mirrors configured as an optical relay. The plurality of relay curvatures is formed in the refractive material. The dichroic relay mirrors include a dichroic reflective layer disposed on the plurality of relay curvatures and immersed in the refractive material. The dichroic reflective layer reflects a first spectrum light and passes light outside the first spectrum light. The first spectrum light may be infrared light.
