The phase shifter includes a first substrate and a second substrate, and a medium layer arranged between them. The first substrate includes a reference electrode arranged on a side of a first base substrate close to the medium layer, and the second substrate includes a delay line arranged on a side of a second base substrate close to the medium layer. An orthographic projection on the first substrate of the delay line at least partially overlaps with that of the reference electrode. A line spacing and/or a line width of the delay line is enable to make a cell thickness between the first substrate and the second substrate be 20 μm-75 μm.
MULTI-LAYER DEVICE INCLUDING A LIGHT-TRANSMISSIVE ELECTRODE LAYER COMPRISING A POROUS MESH OR POROUS SPHERES
A multi-laver device and its method of manufacture are disclosed. The multi-layer device comprises a first electrode layer, a first repair layer, a functional layer, and a second electrode layer. The first repair layer comprises a conductive hydrogel film or conductive hydrogel beads, the conductive hydrogel film or the conductive hydrogel beads comprising conductive filler particles dispersed in a cross-linked polymer. The repair layer protects the multi-layer device from electrical short circuits. A multilayer device is also disclosed including a light-transmissive electrode layer comprising a porous mesh or porous spheres.
Augmented reality device with adjustable electroactive beam splitter
Bright ambient light can wash out a virtual image in a conventional augmented reality device. Fortunately, this problem can be prevented with a variable electro-active beam splitter whose reflect/transmit ratio can be varied or switched on and off rapidly at a duty cycle based on the ambient level. As the ambient light gets brighter, the beam splitter's transmit/reflect ratio can be shifted so that the beam splitter reflects more light from the display and transmits less ambient light to the user's eye. The beam splitter can also be switched between a highly reflective state and a highly transmissive state at a duty cycle selected so that the eye spends more time integrating reflected display light than integrating transmitted ambient light. The splitting ratio and/or duty cycle can be adjusted as the ambient light level changes to provide the optimum experience for the user.
Pressure-sensitive adhesive composition
The present invention relates to a pressure-sensitive adhesive composition. The pressure-sensitive adhesive composition of the present invention can provide a pressure-sensitive adhesive having low time-dependency of dependability and adhesion strength and having excellent interfacial adhesion strength. After being applied to an optical member such as a polarizing plate, the pressure-sensitive adhesive composition exhibits excellent interfacial adhesion strength and maintains excellent dependability without time-dependency.
BISTABLE LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPERSION DEVICES COMPRISING METAL-ORGANIC MESOGENS AND APPLICATIONS THEREOF
A bistable liquid crystal film, comprising: a first transparent flexible film coated with conductive material; a second transparent flexible film; at least one layer of liquid crystal dispersions disposed between the transparent flexible conductive films; and an ionic dopant disposed within the layer of liquid crystal dispersions. The bistable liquid crystal film is characterized as having two modes, a transparent mode and a scattering mode, with transitions between the two modes being accomplished by voltage pulses with no need to maintain a voltage across the film in order to maintain it in a particular mode. The ionic dopant is an ionic mesogen, preferably an ionic metal-organic mesogen.
