A sheet conveyance apparatus includes a drive transmission mechanism configured to transmit a driving force from a driving source to a rotary conveyance member. The drive transmission mechanism includes a shaft, a first rotary member supported on the shaft and configured to rotate by being driven by the driving source, a second rotary member supported on the shaft and configured to rotate the rotary conveyance member, a drive transmission member provided movably in an axial direction of the shaft, and configured to transmit the driving force between the first rotary member and the second rotary member, and a moving unit configured to move the drive transmission member to a transmission position and a release position. The drive transmission member engages the first and second rotary members with each other at the transmission position, and releases engagement of the first and second rotary members at the release position.

An image forming system (100) includes an image forming apparatus (1) and an image reading apparatus (50). The image forming apparatus (1) include a first casing (10) including a top plate (13) having a first opening (11) and a second opening (12); and a fixing member (20) disposed below the top plate (13), having a first projecting part (21) and a second projecting part (22) and operated such that the first projecting part (21) is protruded and retracted through the first opening (11) and the second projecting part (22) is protruded and retracted through the second opening (12). The image reading apparatus (50) includes: a second casing (60) placed on the first casing (10); a second carriage (52) being movable inside the second casing (60); a lock member (70) which is engaged with the second carriage (52) to restrict movement of the second carriage (52), and when pushed up by the first projecting part (21), is disengaged from the second carriage (52) to release restriction of the movement of the second carriage (52); and a third opening (64) into which the second projecting part (22).

An image forming system (100) includes an image forming apparatus (1) and an image reading apparatus (50). The image forming apparatus (1) include a first casing (10) including a top plate (13) having a first opening (11) and a second opening (12); and a fixing member (20) disposed below the top plate (13), having a first projecting part (21) and a second projecting part (22) and operated such that the first projecting part (21) is protruded and retracted through the first opening (11) and the second projecting part (22) is protruded and retracted through the second opening (12). A digital camera including a printer includes a transport roller pair that transports an instant film, an exposure unit that exposes an image onto the instant film, a spreading roller pair that spreads a developer into a gap of the instant film by crushing a developer pod of the exposed instant film, a spreading control member that is positioned between the transport roller pair and the spreading roller pair, extends in a width direction of the instant film, and controls the developer spread into the gap, and a mechanical switch that is positioned near the spreading control member.

A sheet conveyance apparatus includes a conveyance roller to convey a sheet, and a drive transmission mechanism to transmit a driving force from a driving source to the conveyance roller. The drive transmission mechanism includes a shaft, a first rotary member supported on the shaft, a second rotary member supported on the shaft and connected to the conveyance roller, and a coupling member engaged with the first rotary member and rotated integrally with the first rotary member. The coupling member is movable along the shaft between a coupling position, at which the coupling member engages with the second rotary member such that it rotates integrally with the first rotary member, and a release position, at which the coupling member is separated from the second rotary member such that a relative rotation of the second rotary member with respect to the first rotary member is permitted.
