Digital printing apparatus and processing using liquid toner
A digital printing process for xerography printing with liquid toner is disclosed, said liquid toner including a curable carrier liquid and imaging particles suspended in the carrier liquid. The process includes: forming a latent image as a pattern of electric charge on a surface of an imaging member; transferring the liquid toner onto a development member; developing the latent image by transferring liquid toner from the development member onto the imaging member in accordance with the pattern; transferring the liquid toner from the imaging member to a first substrate; applying a second substrate on the transferred liquid toner; after application of the second substrate, irradiating the liquid toner with actinic radiation or particle beams to cure the carrier liquid.

Soluble support material for electrophotography-based additive manufacturing
A support material for printing a support structure with an electrophotography-based additive manufacturing system, the support material including a composition having a charge control agent and a thermoplastic copolymer having aromatic groups, (meth)acrylate-based ester groups, carboxylic acid groups, and anhydride groups, with a high anhydride conversion. The composition is provided in a powder form having a controlled particle size, and the support material is configured for use in the electrophotography-based additive manufacturing system having a layer transfusion assembly for printing the support structure in a layer-by-layer manner, and is at least partially soluble in an aqueous solution.
Electrostatic ink compositions
Herein is disclosed an electrostatic ink composition comprising: a) chargeable particles comprising a resin; b) a charge director comprising a sulfosuccinate salt of the general formula MA.sub.m, wherein M is a metal, m is the valence of M, and A is an ion of the general formula (I): (I) [R.sub.3OC(O)CH.sub.2CH(SO.sub.3)C(O)OR.sub.4].sup. wherein each of R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 is an alkyl group; and c) an optionally substituted naphthalene-sulfonate moiety. Also disclosed is a method of manufacturing an electrostatic ink composition and a printed medium having printed thereon an electrostatic ink composition.
