Display module and display device
A display module includes an image light generation device configured to generate image light, a first reflection section configured to reflect the image light from the image light generation device, a first diffraction element configured to diffract the image light entering a first incident surface, a second reflection section configured to reflect the image light from the first diffraction element, and a second diffraction element configured to diffract the image light entering a second incident surface, thereby forming an exit pupil. When viewed from a normal line direction of a virtual plane including a normal line of the first incident surface and a normal line of the second incident surface, an optical axis of the image light from the image light generation device toward the first reflection section and an optical axis of the image light from the first diffraction element toward the second reflection section intersect each other.
Systems, articles, and methods for integrating holographic optical elements with eyeglass lenses
Systems, articles, and methods integrate photopolymer film with eyeglass lenses. One or more hologram(s) may be recorded into/onto the photopolymer file to enable the lens to be used as a transparent holographic combiner in a wearable heads-up display employing an image source, such as a microdisplay or a scanning laser projector. The methods of integrating photopolymer film with eyeglass lenses include: positioning photopolymer film in a lens mold and casting the lends around the photopolymer film; sandwiching photopolymer film in between two portions of a lens applying photo polymer film to a concave surface of a lens and/or affixing a planar carrier (with photopolymer film thereon) to two points across a length of a concave surface of a lens.
LAMINATED GLAZING HAVING HOLOGRAPHIC FILM AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING A LAMINATED GLAZING
A method of preparing a glazing, comprising: stacking a first glass sheet, a first interlayer, a photopolymer film, a second interlayer, and a second glass sheet to provide a lamination stack; &airing the lamination stack; autoclaving the lamination stack to provide a laminated glazing; applying a reactive light to the photopolymer film in the laminated glazing, wherein reactive light is applied to the laminated glazing through a master holographic film; and bleaching the laminated glazing such that the photopolymer film is no longer reactive to light exposure.
Holographic device
A holographic security or identification device (10) comprises an object, or a flexible substrate (12) configured to be conformable to a desired, curved shape; and a plurality of structures (14) formed on or in the object to have a desired curved configuration, or formed in or associated with the substrate and arranged to adopt a desired curved configuration when the substrate is conformed to a desired shape, wherein the plurality of structures (14) are configured to receive light (20) of a selected at least one wavelength or range of wavelengths and to produce, using the received light, a desired holographic image (22) for security or identification purposes when in the desired configuration.
Systems, articles, and methods for integrating holographic optical elements with eyeglass lenses
Systems, articles, and methods that integrate photopolymer film with eyeglass lenses are described. One or more hologram(s) may be recorded into/onto the photopolymer file to enable the lens to be used as a transparent holographic combiner in a wearable heads-up display employing an image source, such as a microdisplay or a scanning laser projector. The methods of integrating photopolymer film with eyeglass lenses include: positioning photopolymer film in a lens mold and casting the lends around the photopolymer film; sandwiching photopolymer film in between two portions of a lens' applying photopolymer film to a concave surface of a lens' and/or affixing a planar carrier (with photopolymer film thereon) to two points across a length of a concave surface of a lens. Respective lenses manufactured/adapted by each of these processes are also described.
Hologram replicating method and hologram replicating device
The present application provides a replicating method and a replicating device of a transmission type holographic optical element capable of mass-replicating the transmission type holographic optical element by a continuous and economical process.
Diffractive projection apparatus
A light projection apparatus is provided comprising: a source of light; a switchable grating on a first substrate; and a diffractive optical element. Light is diffracted at least once by the switchable grating and is diffracted at least once by the DOE.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING A HOLOGRAPHIC OPTICAL ELEMENT (HOE), WHICH IS PROVIDED FOR PROJECTION IN A PROJECTION SYSTEM, A HOLOGRAPHIC OPTICAL ELEMENT OF THIS KIND, PROJECTION DEVICE, LENS FOR DATA GLASSES AND DATA GLASSES OF THIS KIND
A method for producing a holographic optical element (HOE) that is provided for projection in a projection system. A hologram is recorded by the fact that a first Gaussian beam and a second Gaussian beam are caused to interfere on a holographic film for at least two different configurations. The first Gaussian beam is a reference beam that, for the at least two different configurations, is identical to a reconstruction beam with which the HOE is reconstructed. The second Gaussian beam is furthermore an object beam that, upon reconstruction of the HOE utilizing the reconstruction beam, is identical to a projection beam that is used in the projection system for projection. For the at least two different configurations, at least one beam property that depends respectively on predefined projection properties of the projection system is predefined for the second Gaussian beam.
