DATA COLLECTION SYSTEM
A data collection system includes a plurality of sensor modules each provided with a sensor unit, and a data collecting device. The data collecting device (200) is provided with: a clock output unit (201) which outputs a clock signal; an enable signal output unit (202) which outputs to a prescribed sensor module (100) an enable signal at intervals equal to or greater than the number of clock signals corresponding to the number of sensor modules (100); a counter (203) which counts the number of clock signals; and a sensor signal input unit (205) into which data output by the sensor modules (100) is input via a bus line, and which records said data in association with the count value. Using the clock signal as a trigger, each sensor module (100) functions as a shift register feeding the enable signal to the subsequent stage sensor module (100), and each sensor module (100) outputs output data from the sensor unit (110) in said sensor module (100) to the sensor signal input unit (205) only when the enable signal has been fed to said sensor module (100).
CONFIGURATION-FREE OUTPUT OF USER DATA CONTAINED IN ETHERNET TELEGRAMS
A device for the extraction of user data out of Ethernet telegrams sent from a field device comprises an input interface and an output interface for connecting to an Ethernet data line, wherein the input interface is designed to receive Ethernet telegrams transmitted via the Ethernet data line; an electronics unit which is designed to evaluate the received Ethernet telegrams and to extract a value of at least one process variable out of the user data portions of the received Ethernet telegrams; and an output unit for outputting the determined process variables. The invention also relates to a system comprising the device according to the invention.
Field device
A field device for controlling actuators and for processing and relaying sensor signals, having a control unit for providing control signals, having a transmission device for transmitting the control signals within the field device, wherein the transmission device comprises at least one interface designed for electrical coupling of a function module, having at least one function module designed as an engine control module, which is equipped for controlling at least one electrical drive depending on control signals from the control unit, wherein the control unit and the function module are electrically connected to each other by means of the transmission device, wherein the transmission device is designed for providing electrical drive energy to the engine control module and wherein the engine control module is designed for providing electrical drive energy to the drive in order to enable operation of the electrical drive with the electrical drive energy.
