PERFORMANCE MONITORING AND CONTROL SYSTEM FOR CONNECTED BUILDING EQUIPMENT WITH STABILITY INDEX
A method includes obtaining an actual value of a condition affected by operating the building equipment, operating the building equipment using a setpoint for the condition, calculating a stability index based on a timeseries of errors between the actual value and the setpoint, comparing the stability index to a criterion, in response to the stability index satisfying the criterion, executing an action relating to the building equipment, and in response to the stability index not satisfying the criterion, not executing the action.
INDUSTRIAL AUTOMATION SMART OBJECT PARENT/CHILD DATA COLLECTION PROPAGATION
An industrial integrated development environment (IDE) provides a development framework for designing, programming, and configuring multiple aspects of an industrial automation system using a common design environment and data model. Projects creating using embodiments of the IDE system can be built on an object-based model rather than, or in addition to, a tag-based architecture. To this end, the IDE system can support the use of automation objects that serve as building blocks for this object-based development structure. These automation objects represent corresponding physical industrial assets and have associated programmatic attributes relating to those assets, including data logging and device configuration parameters. Functional relationships between automation objects can be defined to yield object hierarchies, and object attributes can be propagated across objects up and down the hierarchy.
Programmable logic controller
An object of the present subject matter is to appropriately acquire and analyze a camera image for monitoring and to constantly monitor a monitoring target with high accuracy. A programmable logic controller (PLC) includes: an image processing section for sequentially acquiring the image data of the camera image from the camera sensor and generating characteristic amount data indicating a characteristic amount of image data in a preset monitoring region; a time-series data acquisition section for sequentially collecting characteristic amount data from the image processing section and acquiring time-series data of a characteristic amount; and a monitoring section for monitoring time-series data of a current characteristic amount acquired by the time-series data acquisition section in accordance with a monitoring timing defined by the device of the device memory.
Methods and systems of industrial processes with self organizing data collectors and neural networks
Systems and methods for data collection for an industrial heating process are disclosed. The system according to one embodiment can include a plurality of data collectors, including a swarm of self-organized data collector members, wherein the swarm of self-organized data collector members organize to enhance data collection based on at least one of capabilities and conditions of the data collector members of the swarm, and wherein the plurality of data collectors is coupled to a plurality of input channels for acquiring collected data relating to the industrial heating process, and a data acquisition and analysis circuit for receiving the collected data via the plurality of input channels and structured to analyze the received collected data using a neural network to monitor a plurality of conditions relating to the industrial heating process.
Methods, controllers, and machine-readable storage media for automated commissioning of equipment
Tools and techniques are described to automate commissioning of physical spaces. Controllers have access to databases of the devices that are controlled by them, including wiring diagrams and protocols, such that the controller can automatically check that each wire responds correctly to stimulus from the controller. Controllers also have access to databases of the physical space such that they can check that sensors in the space record the correct information for device activity, and sensors can cross-check each other for consistency. Once a physical space is commissioned, incentives can be sought based on commissioning results.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PROVIDING MAINTENANCE SERVICE FOR RECORDING MEDIUM INCLUDED IN ELECTRONIC DEVICE
A method executed by an arithmetic circuit of one or a plurality of computers includes periodically collecting log information from an electronic device, inputting the log information collected before a current clock time from the electronic device to a prediction model, causing the prediction model to predict an abnormal or normal operating state of a recording medium after the current clock time, and transmitting replacement notification information that is based on a prediction result to the electronic device. The prediction model is generated by performing machine learning using, as training data, training log information collected within a predetermined period up to a reference clock time from a plurality of training electronic devices each including a training recording medium, and state information indicating an operating state of the training recording medium determined after the reference clock time.
INTEGRATED RECORD OF ASSET USAGE, MAINTENANCE, AND CONDITION, AND ASSOCIATED SYSTEMS AND METHODS
Systems and methods for improving recordkeeping and analysis of an asset include creating and maintaining an integrated record about the asset. In some embodiments, the systems and methods include collecting data about an asset to form an asset data collection, recording the asset data collection in a record, analyzing at least a portion of the asset data collection to determine a characteristic of the asset, and recording the characteristic of the asset in the record. In some embodiments, recording the characteristic in the record includes adding the characteristic to the asset data collection.
DATA DISTRIBUTION CONTROL APPARATUS, DATA DISTRIBUTION CONTROL METHOD, AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER-READABLE MEDIUM
The confidentiality of data is maintained in a case where analysis of an operation state of a facility is entrusted to the outside. Time difference information in operation between the manufacturing apparatuses (RB1), (RB2), . . . , arranged on the production line (LN) is stored for each of the apparatuses, in an inter-apparatus time difference information storage unit (33). At the occurrence of a failure in one of the manufacturing apparatuses (RB1), (RB2), . . . , the operation estimation unit (13) selects, from among the peripheral apparatuses on the upstream side and the downstream side with respect to the manufacturing apparatus concerned, one on the upstream side and one on the downstream side, estimates an operation period of each selected peripheral apparatus associated with the failure, reads log data corresponding to the estimated operation period from the operation history storage unit (31), and transmits the read piece to the external support center (SC).
Perceptible indicators of wires being attached correctly to controller
Tools and techniques are described to automate line testing when wiring devices (such as equipment and sensors) to controllers. Controllers have access to databases of the devices that are controlled by them, including wiring diagrams and protocols, such that the controller can automatically check that each wire responds correctly to stimulus from the controller. After testing, a reporting device rapidly shows the results of the line testing.
Systems and methods for monitoring performance of a building management system via log streams
Methods and systems for monitoring the performance of a building management system by analyzing log files of various modules of the building management system. A user request is received at a first one of the plurality of modules of the building management system, which initiates a sequence of messages processed by two or more modules. Each of the sequence of messages include a common tag value that corresponds to the user request. Each of the plurality of modules that process one of the sequence of messages logs the corresponding message including the common tag value in a corresponding log entry. The log entries are analyzed to identify resource utilization of at least some of the plurality of modules.
