A monitor system for use with an existing HVAC unit, wherein the HVAC unit has a condenser or furnace, an air handler, and a thermostat, the HVAC monitor system comprising at least one condenser or furnace sensor, at least one air handler sensor and at least one control module. A wetness monitor system, comprising at least one wetness detector connected to a control, wherein the control is also connected to a network and the network is connected to a flow shutoff valve. A method of monitoring a location for wetness comprising detecting wetness through at least one wetness detector, monitoring the state of a shutoff valve.
DUAL CONTROLLER SYSTEM
The present invention relates to a dual controller system for analyzing a control signal received from two dual controllers, both of which operate in an active state, to check whether an error occurs in the controllers and to perform operation with a controller in a normal state. A dual controller system according to the present invention includes a plurality of lower-layer modules performing respective functions, and first and second controllers for controlling each of the plurality of lower-layer modules, wherein the first and second controllers transmit control signals to the plurality of lower-layer modules, and the lower-layer modules determine whether an error occurs in the two received control signals, remove an erroneous control signal and perform a function according to a normal control signal.
Fault diagnosis system and method for electric drives
The present disclosure relates to diagnosing a fault in an electric drive of a process plant. The fault diagnosis method includes receiving fault data from an electric drive upon occurrence of the fault. The method further includes obtaining a fault code and a drive type associated with the electric drive from the fault data. In addition, the method comprises determining one or more drive parts to replace by comparing the fault code and the drive type with a mapped data for a plurality of drive types. The mapped data for each drive type includes a relation between a plurality of fault codes and a plurality of drive parts. The method further includes initiating a maintenance operation involving replacement of the one or more drive parts to address the fault.
Inflatable Air Mattress System Architecture
A method may comprise receiving, at a central controller, a command, from a remote control, to adjust a feature of a first component of an air mattress framework; relaying, from the central controller, the command to the first component; receiving from the first component at the central controller, an indication of the success of the command; and relaying the indication from the central controller to the remote control.
DATA DISTRIBUTION CONTROL APPARATUS, DATA DISTRIBUTION CONTROL METHOD, AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER-READABLE MEDIUM
The confidentiality of data is maintained in the case of outsourcing analysis of an operation state of a facility. Degree-of-relevance information indicating a degree of relevance in operation between a plurality of apparatuses included in a facility is stored. At the occurrence of a failure in a first apparatus included in the plurality of apparatuses, a second apparatus having a degree of relevance in operation to the first apparatus equal to or greater than a preset first threshold is selected from the plurality of apparatuses based on the degree-of-relevance information, and the log data relating to operation states of the first apparatus in which a failure has occurred and the selected second apparatus are selectively read from a first memory storage, and the read log data is transmitted to a data user via a network.
Devices, methods, and systems for hands free facility status alerts
Devices, methods, and systems for hands free facility status alerts are described herein. One system includes a computing device for hands free building automation notifications, comprising a memory and a processor to execute executable instructions stored in the memory to: receive a notification of an event from a building automation system, modify the notification to include only pre-defined attributes of the notification that are displayable on a user interface of a wearable device, and transmit the modified notification to the wearable device.
Equipment element maintenance analysis system and equipment element maintenance analysis method
There is provided an equipment element maintenance analysis system including: a history information acquirer that is attached with at least one equipment element and acquires, at a predetermined timing, operation history information on a piece of manufacturing equipment for manufacturing a product; an error rate calculator that calculates an error rate based on the number of errors related to each of the at least one equipment element, included in the operation history information; a maintenance determiner that determines maintenance necessity of each of the at least one equipment element; and a notifier that notifies an information item on an equipment element determined to require maintenance among the at least one equipment. The error rate calculator calculates, as a latest error rate, an error rate in a latest predetermined period from the acquired operation history information, the maintenance determiner determines an equipment element with the latest error rate greater than or equal to a predetermined value among one or more equipment elements with a large number of errors as the equipment element that requires maintenance, the one or more equipment elements being included in the at least one equipment element, and the notifier lists the information on the equipment elements with a large number of errors in order, and notifies the number of errors and requirement of maintenance.
ALARM REPORTING APPARATUS AND ALARM REPORTING METHOD
An alarm reporting apparatus determines that an alarm reporting is necessary if an abnormality occurring in a machine is to be constantly reported, determines that the alarm reporting is not necessary if the abnormality is to be reported during operation and the machine is not during operation, determines that the alarm reporting is not necessary if the abnormality is to be reported during operation, the machine is during operation, and an elapsed time from the occurrence of the abnormality has not exceeded a set monitoring time, and determines that the alarm reporting is necessary if the abnormality is to be reported during operation, the machine is during operation, and the elapsed time from the occurrence of the abnormality has exceeded the set monitoring time. When it is determined that the alarm reporting is necessary, the alarm reporting apparatus reports, to a monitoring apparatus, an alarm related to the corresponding machine.
PRODUCTION FACILITIES MONITORING METHOD, PRODUCTION FACILITIES MONITORING DEVICE, AND OPERATION METHOD FOR PRODUCTION FACILITIES
