SENSOR-OPERATED KITCHEN FAUCET
A sensor-operated kitchen faucet comprises a base, a mixing valve, a control assembly and a spout. The base extends vertically to define an inner space. The mixing valve is disposed in the inner space and communicated to a cold source and a hot source to supply a combined fluid. The control assembly comprises a inlet conduit, a outlet conduit, a cushioning member, a solenoid valve and a sensor. The inlet conduit is connected to the mixing valve to receive the combined fluid, the cushioning member comprises an outer tubing and an inner tubing, and the solenoid valve is electrically connected to the sensor and movably disposed at a connecting port communicated between the outer tubing the inner tubing. The spout is fluidly connected to the outlet conduit of the control assembly through a connecting conduit to supply the combined fluid.
Reject valve of reverse osmosis device
A reject valve of a reverse osmosis device, which is especially suited for brackish water reverse osmosis devices, which require a low system pressure less than 15bar. The valve keeps the system pressure substantially constant in a pre-defined range of the reject volume. The size of the inflow channel is adjusted by a spring-operated cone, which never entirely closes the channel, which forms a constant throttle until the pressure of the inflow has risen to approximately three quarters of the pressure arranged by the spring and prevailing at maximum volume of the reject flow. This operation is arranged structurally such that onto the shaft of the cone is fixedly supported a transverse plate abutting the inner wall of the body, which as pressed by the compression spring is supported by the end of an element connected to the end of the body, wherein the cone is in its lowest position.
Fuel Pump Driven by a Variable Displacement Motor for Aerial Refueling Operation
A fuel pump system for an aerial refueling system including: a variable displacement motor operable to be driven by a hydraulic fluid pressure; a fuel pump operable to be driven by the variable displacement motor; and a drive system controller (DSC) connected to the variable displacement motor, wherein the DSC is operable to direct an operation of the fuel pump in modes comprising: a flow control mode operable to maintain an output fuel flow rate from the fuel pump to a predetermined maximum inlet pressure at a reception coupling for a receiver aircraft; a fuel pressure control mode operable to regulate the output fuel flow rate to not exceed the predetermined maximum inlet pressure; and a priority mode operable to reduce the output fuel flow rate in response to a decrease in the hydraulic pressure. Also a method of refueling a receiver aircraft.
Hybrid Flow and Pressure Regulation
An outlet assembly for hybrid pressure and flow regulation includes a first orifice of a first size, a second orifice of a second size that is larger than the first size, and a mechanism that automatically moves the first orifice between a first position, a second position, and a third position. When the first orifice is in the first position, the flow of gas passes through the first orifice, which regulates a flow rate of the flow of gas through the second orifice. When the first orifice is in the second position, the flow of gas primarily bypasses the first orifice and flows through the second orifice with a first specific flow rate. When the first orifice is in the third position, the flow of gas primarily bypasses the first orifice and flows through the second orifice with a second specific flow rate.
Regulator with Improved Turndown
A trim assembly for a regulator can include a cage and a plug assembly. The cage can include a peripheral wall defining an opening and a plurality of cage apertures formed in the peripheral wall. The plug assembly can include a plug and a sealing element and can be configured to be moveably received within the opening so that the sealing element contacts an inner surface of the cage to vary a flow area through the plurality of cage apertures depending on the position of the plug.
PRESSURE REGULATOR AND METHOD FOR FLUID PRESSURE REGULATION
A gas regulator includes a valve chamber body that houses two valves of the regulator. Valve elements that move to open and close the two valves are received via a same opening into the valve chamber body, which is closed by a plug. The plug can define a first valve seat as well as a piercing element used to pierce a compressed gas cylinder. A retainer can hold a gasket at a valve seat as well as provide a bore or other support for a valve element and valve element spring.
Systems and methods for fuel-gas blending
A fuel-gas blending system receives low-pressure tank vapors and high-pressure flash gases from an oil production facility, boosts the pressure of the tank vapors, and blends the tank vapors and high-pressure gases together to supply fuel gas at a pressure and quality required by an onsite fuel-gas-powered generator. The quality of the supplied fuel gas is maintained by controlling the proportion of a high-pressure gas, such as separator gas, in the blend while the volumetric flow rates of the various gases vary in response to the real-time demands of the generator. The system operates in one of multiple modes in order to maximize the use of tank vapors. In one mode, all the gases pass through a low-pressure blower. In another mode, only the tank vapors pass through the blower, and the high-pressure gases are blended with tank vapors downstream of the blower.
VACUUM VALVE AND VACUUM PRESSURE CONTROL SYSTEM USING THE SAME
A vacuum valve placed between a vacuum vessel and a vacuum pump to adjust a valve opening degree using an operating fluid includes a packing mounted in a recessed groove of a piston. The packing is provided with a contact portion on a radially inner side and a contact portion on a radially outer side, and a slide-contact portion contacting with an inner peripheral surface of a cylinder. A portion between the contact portion and the slide-contact portion has a thin thickness.
PRESSURE REGULATION SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR A FLUIDIC PRODUCT HAVING PARTICLES
A method of maintaining a backpressure of a fluidic product is provided. The method includes pressurizing a first reservoir to a first predetermined pressure level using compressed air, delivering the fluidic product to the pressurized first reservoir until a current level of the fluidic product in the first reservoir reaches a first predetermined level, pressurizing a second reservoir to a second predetermined pressure level using the compressed air, delivering the fluidic product to the pressurized second reservoir until a current level of the fluidic product in the second reservoir reaches a second predetermined level, and controlling the backpressure of the fluidic product using the first reservoir and the second reservoir such that a discharge flow of the fluidic product is continuous.
A COOLANT SYSTEM
A coolant system is arranged to be driven by a prime mover of an aircraft. The coolant system comprises a fluid circuit with a fluid therein, the fluid for cooling an electricity generator located in the fluid circuit. The fluid circuit comprises: a cooling path passing via at least one cooled component of the generator; a first fluid flow source configured to deliver a first fluid flow to the cooling path; a second fluid flow source configured to generate a second fluid flow; and a valve arrangement configured to selectively direct at least a proportion of the second fluid flow away from the cooling path in dependence on a measured operational parameter of the generator. An aircraft propulsion system and an aircraft can also include the coolant system.
