The regulator includes a sense pressure port, wherein pressure at the port is maintained constant by the regulator. A chamber has a first entry orifice, a second entry orifice and an exit orifice. The first entry orifice is connected to the upstream side, the second entry orifice is connected to the downstream side, and the exit orifice is connected to the port. The exit orifice provides that the pressure at the exit orifice lies between the pressure at the first entry orifice and the pressure at the second entry orifice.

The outlet portion has a wider region with a transverse surface defining the bottom of the regulating chamber, which is inclined toward the center to facilitate the outer discharge of soil, sand and impurities.

The auxiliary valve is configured to establish pressure communication between its inlet and outlet when pressure in the inlet traverses a predetermined threshold.

A temperature-controlled pressure regulator assembly includes a regulator having a regulator body, a valve seat, an inlet, an outlet, and defines a flow passage connecting the inlet and the outlet. A control element controls the device, a portion of the flow passage extends through a heat chamber, and a heater is positioned to heat the chamber thereby conveying heat to a fluid in the flow passage. A controller is electrically coupled to the heater and is coupled to a power source. A thermal cut-off fuse is coupled to a control circuit, with the thermal cut-off fuse arranged to electrically decouple the heater from the control circuit in response to a temperature exceeding a threshold, thereby deactivating the heater. The thermal cut-off fuse is disposed in a circular fuse holder and positioned adjacent the heater and adjacent a longitudinal center of the heat chamber.

A fluid regulating device includes a valve having an inlet and an outlet and an actuator coupled to the valve and having a control assembly. The control assembly includes a control element and a diaphragm operably connected to the control element, the control element disposed within the valve and adapted to be displaced relative to a valve seat. A noise attenuation assembly is coupled to the outlet of the valve and includes a cylindrical body and at least one plate disposed in the cylindrical body, the at least one plate having an outer edge. An apparatus for retaining the noise attenuation assembly includes a plurality of rods coupled to the at least one plate. The plurality of rods includes at least one rod having a first end disposed through the outer edge of the at least one plate to support the noise attenuation assembly.

Multi-stage back pressure regulators are disclosed herein. In one embodiment, a multi-stage back pressure regulator includes a first stage and a second stage downstream from the first stage. The first stage includes a gas-charged regulator device arranged to receive a fluid at an inlet, and the second stage includes a spring-loaded regulator device having an outlet in fluid communication with the inlet. The gas-charged regulator and the spring-loaded regulator are configured to control inlet pressure to the back pressure regulator and maximum differential pressures across the first and second stages.
