Gas pressure regulating device
A gas pressure regulating device is provided which comprises a housing, in which a first mounting cavity for installing a level-1 depressurization mechanism and a second mounting cavity for installing a level-2 depressurization mechanism are provided in sequence along the air intake direction; the level-1 depressurization mechanism comprises a sliding sleeve, and a mounting tubing which is communicated with the gas inlet is formed inside the first mounting cavity, and the sliding sleeve is slidably assembled between an outer wall of the mounting tubing and an inner wall of the first mounting cavity; the other end of the sliding sleeve is provided with a gas discharge orifice and a sealing gasket, and the gas inlet connector is in communication with the first mounting cavity through the gas discharge orifice; the sliding sleeve slides along the axial direction to adjust the openness of the gas outlet to realize the level-1 depressurization. The gas pressure regulating device provided comprising two levels of depressurization mechanisms, which is simple in structure and fewer in parts. Further, the device is capable of effectively reducing the risk of occurrence of dangerous accidents such as product leakage due to failure of parts, thereby effectively guaranteeing stability and accuracy of pressure regulation performance.
Fluid regulator having a biased pressure sense tube
A fluid regulating device includes a valve body, a control element, a control assembly, and a sense tube. The valve body has an inlet, an outlet, a valve port, and a control element adapted to be displaced relative to the valve port to control the flow of a fluid between the inlet and the outlet. The control assembly is operatively coupled to the control element and includes a diaphragm disposed adjacent a diaphragm chamber. The sense tube has a first end, a second end, and a sense hole. The first end is positioned to communicate with the diaphragm chamber, the second end is disposed adjacent the outlet, and the sense hole being formed in the sense tube between the first end and the second end and being oriented along an axis that is angled relative to an axis of the outlet.
Fluid regulator having a retractable sense tube
A fluid regulating device includes a valve body having an inlet, an outlet, and a valve port, a control element adapted to be displaced relative to the valve port to control the flow of a fluid between the inlet and the outlet, a control assembly operatively coupled to the control element and including a diaphragm disposed adjacent a diaphragm chamber, and a sense tube. The sense tube has a first end, a second end, and a sense hole formed adjacent the second end. The first end is positioned to communicate with the diaphragm chamber, and the second end is disposed adjacent the outlet, with the second end being movable, relative to the first end, between a first position within the valve body and a second position extending outside of the valve body, the movement being in response to fluid flowing between the inlet and the outlet.
Dynamic pressure registration device for internally registered actuators and overpressure protection devices
A fluid regulating device includes a regulator valve having an inlet, an outlet, and a valve port disposed between the inlet and the outlet. An actuator is coupled to the regulator valve and includes a valve disc that displaces between a closed position and an open position. The device also includes an overpressure protection device adapted to stop flow from the inlet to the outlet when pressure in a control cavity reaches a predetermined level. The overpressure protection device includes a sensing tube having a first end in fluid communication with the control cavity and a second end in fluid communication with the outlet. The sensing tube has a first portion extending parallel to the flow axis. One or more apertures are disposed in the sensing tube adjacent to the second end, and each of the apertures has a centerline that is perpendicular to the flow axis.
Pressure regulators with adjustable boost bodies
Pressure regulators with adjustable boost bodies are described herein. An example pressure regulator includes a valve body; a seat in the fluid passageway; an actuator casing coupled to the valve body; and a plug assembly including: a stem; a plug coupled to the stem; a stem guide disposed in the channel of the actuator casing; a boost body on the second side of the stem guide; and a tube extending through the boost body, the tube and the boost body forming a unitary structure to prevent movement of the tube relative to the boost body, the tube having a first end and a second end, the second end disposed in a downstream location relative to the seat, wherein the boost body is rotatable with respect to the stem guide to position the tube in at least one other orientation relative to the actuator casing.
