METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR CONTROLLING AIRCRAFT GROUND MANOEUVRES
An aircraft is disclosed including a ground manoeuvre control unit for automatically controlling ground manoeuvres. The aircraft has control mechanisms such as a rudder, nose wheel steering, spoilers, wheel brakes and the like for controlling motion of the aircraft. The control unit is configured to receive lateral input demands concerning lateral motion of the aircraft (e.g. heading control) and longitudinal input demands concerning longitudinal motion of the aircraft (e.g. deceleration). The control unit passes on the input demands as output demands to the relevant control mechanisms of the aircraft with, if so required, a modification which prioritises one of the lateral input demand and longitudinal input demand based on the risk of a lateral runway excursion and the risk of a longitudinal runway excursion.
GPS DIRECTED ULTRA-HIGH PRESSURE RUNWAY CLEANER
A GPS directed vehicle for cleaning airport runway surfaces. The vehicle uses an ultra-high pressure washer for cleaning rubber off the surfaces of the runway, and a vacuum system for the collection of debris. A GPS device allows an operator to track a cleaning line so as to allow no more than 25 mm overlap of surfaces to be cleaned. An iPad can be used to highlight Google maps for calculating a runway area to be treated. Recording allows the exact location of last treated surface area to allow exact location of an untreated surface area.
VEHICLE UNLOADING MANAGEMENT DEVICE AND VEHICLE UNLOADING MANAGEMENT METHOD
A vehicle unloading management device includes a processor. When an unload request for unloading a vehicle being loaded in an airport parking lot is received from a passenger of an airplane whose arrival destination is an airport, the processor sets a time period for performing automated unload of the passenger's vehicle. In the process of setting the time period, when at least two unload requests are received from at least two vehicles and time periods for performing automated unload of the at least two vehicles overlap, the processor predicts an arrival order at the airport parking lot of a passengers corresponding to the at least two unload requests with overlapping the time periods. And the processor determines an order for automated unload of the at least two vehicles according to the arrival order.
ELECTRIC MOBILITY VEHICLE
An electric mobility vehicle on which a user can be seated to ride. The electric mobility vehicle includes a mobility body having a front wheel, a rear wheel, and a seat for the user, a controller provided in the mobility body, and a lower side sensor capable of emitting a detection wave from under a footrest surface for the user seated on the seat or from under the mobility body, the lower side sensor being capable of detecting an object to be avoided located in a vehicle front direction of the electric mobility vehicle by using the detection wave.
METHOD OF ASSISING AN AIRCRAFT IN LANDING ON A RUNWAY AND ASSOCIATED SYSTEM
A method for assisting an aircraft in landing on a runway and an associated system includes determining a target exit point from the runway and a target taxi speed at which the aircraft has to take the target exit; calculating a target ground distance representative of a ground deceleration phase; and calculating the position of a target touchdown point on the basis of the target ground distance. The target ground distance is calculated as a function of a target deceleration profile for the aircraft to reach the target exit point at the target taxi speed.
Moving range setting system and moving range setting method
According to the present invention, a moving body capable of moving within a preset range of movement acquires an image from the environment surrounding the location of the moving body, and determines entry determination conditions for obtaining a result of an entry determination as to whether or not the moving body is allowed to enter a region identified by the location of the moving body and the image. A management terminal outputs the entry determination conditions and the image to an output device, and receives modification information relating to the entry determination conditions from an input device. A server uses the modification information received by the input device of the management terminal to perform learning, including updating of the entry determination conditions, thereby setting the movement range of the moving body, the movement of which is controlled in accordance with the entry determination result.
SUPERVISORY SAFETY SYSTEM FOR CONTROLLING AND LIMITING UNMANNED AERIAL SYSTEM (UAS) OPERATIONS
Systems, devices, and methods for determining, by a processor, an unmanned aerial system position relative to at least one flight boundary; and effecting, by the processor, at least one flight limitation of a flight limiting device if the determined unmanned aerial system position crosses the at least one flight boundary.
SYSTEM FOR CONTROLLING FERRY, METHOD OF CONTROLLING FERRY, AND FERRY
A ferry controlling system for controlling a ferry in a marina where a watercraft of a user is moored and stored includes a controller and a storage. The storage stores identification information identifying the user, first location information regarding a first location where a ferry is docked/undocked, and second location information regarding a second location on the water where the watercraft of the user is moored and stored. Upon receiving the identification information, the controller is configured or programmed to allow driving of the ferry and set the second location as a destination of the ferry based on the second location information.
INFORMATION-PROCESSING DEVICE, TERMINAL, INFORMATION-PROCESSING METHOD, ALARM METHOD, AND ALARM SYSTEM
Provided is an information-processing device in a system in which each of a plurality of moving bodies travels on each of a plurality of substantially parallel travel routes, the information-processing device comprising: a processing unit that, on the basis of the positions of terminals installed in the moving bodies, determines whether or not the distance between the terminals mounted on the moving bodies traveling on adjacent routes is within a specific distance range, and generates an alarm-issuing signal for issuing an alarm upon determining that the distance is outside of the specific distance range; and a communication unit that transmits the alarm-issuing signal to a management terminal that manages the traveling of the moving bodies.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR CONTROLLING A MOVEMENT OF TRANSPORT UNITS
A method and a system for controlling a movement of transport units inside a control area of an installation includes initially capturing and identifying a transport unit at a known position. The transport unit is subsequently moved and the positions of the transport units within the control area are continuously captured over time using a position capture device and are transmitted to a background system. On the basis of the initial position, the background system assigns the captured positions of the transport units to the captured identity of the relevant transport unit and maps the positions of the transport units, in particular of the identified transport unit, in the control area. This allows the movement to be controlled without the need for a separate marking of the transport unit for the position capture device.
