Bypass valve
09772632 · 2017-09-26 ·

A bypass valve for thermally regulating a fluid flow in two directions by opening and closing a bypass fluid flow between the two directions. An example of application of such a bypass valve is for regulating the flow of engine coolant fluid between a vehicle engine and a heat-exchange system for cooling down the engine coolant. The bypass valve includes a housing inside which a first port, a second port, a bypass port and a barrier assembly are arranged. The barrier assembly is movable with respect to the bypass port, so that it can open or close the port depending on fluid temperature. In addition, the barrier assembly is arranged external to the first and second ports, so that it does not interfere with fluid passing through them. The bypass valve therefore provides substantially constant fluid pressure in the first and second ports, avoiding pressure drops associated with conventional bypass valves.

Fuel recirculation method and valve

Fuel recirculation methods, fuel supply circuits and fuel recirculation valves for selectively mixing hot return fuel from a diesel engine with fuel from a tank before providing it to back to the engine. In exemplary disclosed embodiments of fuel recirculation valves, the valves are configured to selectively mix the fuel in a controlled manner using a temperature sensitive actuator within the valve such that, when the temperature of the fuel reaches a certain point, the valve restricts flow pathways to reduce heated fuel being mixed with fuel from the fuel tank, and eventually closes to prevent any heated fuel from being mixed and overheating the fuel provided to a fuel filter, a fuel pump and the engine. Disclosed fuel circulation valves are separate from the fuel filter and are placed upstream of the filter.

Temperature thermostatic valve

Provided is a thermostatic valve including a first valve body, a second valve body, a third valve body, a first thermal actuator, a second thermal actuator, a valve core, a first valve port, a second valve port and a third valve port. The first valve body includes a second cavity and a third cavity. The second thermal actuator is sealedly fixed in the first valve body to isolate the second cavity from the third cavity. At least a part of the valve core is located in the second cavity. The valve core is connected to, or is integrated with, or abuts against a second valve stem of the second thermal actuator. The second thermal actuator is configured to act in response to a change in temperature of a fluid in the third cavity. The valve core is configured to open the second valve port or the third valve port in response to an action of the second valve stem.

Temperature regulating valve

A thermostatic valve, including: a pressure relief ring capable of moving up and down and disposed in a valve body cavity. In normal conditions, the pressure relief ring is abutted against the outer edge of a first valve seat via a spring. An internal channel capable of being opened or closed via up and down movement of the pressure relief ring is further provided in the valve body cavity; when the pressure of a fluid in the thermostatic valve is excessive, the fluid can drive the pressure relief ring to compress the spring, such that the internal channel is in communication with a third interface to realize simultaneous communication with a first flow channel and a third flow channel.

Temperature Adjusting Valve

A thermostat includes a valve member. The valve member has an insertion hole. The insertion hole is constituted by a first protective member and a second protective member. A shaft of a jiggle valve extends through the insertion hole. The jiggle valve has a substantially spherical head connected to an end of the shaft. The head closes the insertion hole by contacting the peripheral edge of the opening of the insertion hole. The materials of the first protective member and the second protective member each have a Vickers hardness higher than that of the valve member, which is part of the valve member other than the protective members.

TEMPERATURE CONTROL SYSTEM

A temperature control system is used for controlling a temperature of a control target to a target temperature that changes with lapse of time. The system includes: a first adjustment apparatus that includes a first tank that stores a first heat transfer medium, adjusts the temperature of the first heat transfer medium to a first set temperature, and supplies the temperature-adjusted first heat transfer medium; a first circulation circuit through which the first heat transfer medium flows from the first adjustment apparatus to a first flow-through path and returns to the first adjustment apparatus; an adjustment section that adjusts an amount of heat supplied from the first flow-through path to the control target; a memory that stores a relation between the lapse of time and the target temperature; and a controller.
