PROTECTIVE BUTTON ASSEMBLY FOR EXTERIOR SURFACES OF VEHICLES
A button assembly for an exterior of a vehicle is disclosed. The button assembly is designed with improved water drainage properties. The button assembly includes a button switch and a bezel housing surrounding the button switch that is spaced apart from the button switch. A channel extends between the two components. In one example, the channel has a width of approximately 0.5 mm at one end. In another example, the channel is formed between two surfaces, and the outer surface is sloped relative to the button switch by approximately 15 degrees. Furthermore, in some examples, the channel has a height of approximately 3 mm. Each of these structural characteristics serves to significantly improve the assembly's overall drainage performance, which may be especially essential in colder climates.

Knob on display devices and related systems, methods, and devices
Knob on display (KoD) devices and related systems, methods, and devices are disclosed. A KoD device includes a touch surface including a conductive material. The touch surface is configured to be positioned in a released position and in a depressed position. The touch surface is configured to be positioned in the depressed position responsive to pressure applied to the touch surface. The KoD device also includes a push electrode pad configured to be positioned in engagement proximity to a touch sensor of a touch screen device in both the released position and the depressed position. The push electrode pad is electrically connected to the conductive material of the touch surface responsive to the depressed position and electrically isolated from the conductive material of the touch surface in the released position.
Driving assistance apparatus
A brake operation portion that allows a manual brake operation is included in a vehicle cabin, the brake operation portion includes a grip portion, and an elbow rest member is provided at, in the vehicle rear side of the grip portion, a position on which an elbow of a driver can abut in a state in which the driver grips the grip portion so as to be capable of operating the grip portion. A safety switch device includes a first support member and a second support member which are formed so as to secure a mobile terminal, and a grip part to be grasped by an operator’s hand. The safety switch device includes an enable switch for transmitting a signal for permitting a robot to operate, and an emergency stop button for transmitting a signal for stopping the robot. The first support member and the second support member are formed so as to secure a plurality of types of mobile terminals having different sizes. The grip part is disposed at the center part of the shape of the back surface of the mobile terminal, which corresponds to the position of the center of gravity of the mobile terminal.

Button device and timepiece
To prevent an erroneous operation and improve operability, a button device and a timepiece including the button device are provided. The button device includes: a cylindrical first guide protector 11 protruding from the lateral face of a wristwatch case 1; and a first button 12 disposed in the first guide protector 11 to be slidable inward and outward of the wristwatch case 1. The first button 12 includes a first button head 13 disposed in the first guide protector 11, and a first button shaft 15 passing through a first through hole 14 of the wristwatch case 1. The first button head 13 is inclined obliquely upward relative to the lateral face of the wristwatch case 1. The first guide protector 11 protects the outer periphery of the first button head 13, and this prevents accidental and erroneous operation of the first button 12. The first button head 13 is inclined obliquely upward relative to the lateral face of the wristwatch case 1, and this allows the user to easily place a fingertip on the outer end face of the first button head 13, and so improves the operability of the first button 12.
