Steering System for Dual Joystick and Control Method Therefor
An embodiment steering system for a dual joystick includes left and right joysticks respectively disposed at left and right sides of a seat and configured to rotate about rotary shafts to steer, feedback actuators configured to provide reaction torque and a steering angle variation to the left and right joysticks, respectively, and a controller configured to control the feedback actuators, generate a target steering angle, and steer a vehicle based on a steering input from a driver and factors reflecting a driving state of the vehicle.
MECHANICAL RETURN-TO-PARK FEATURE FOR SHIFT-BY-WIRE TRANSMISSION
A selector mechanism includes a selector interface having a detent member. An artificial feel positioner defines a plurality of artificial feel positions that correspond to selectable positions of the selector interface. The plurality of artificial feel positions are connected via a screw channel that helically extends along the artificial feel positioner. A motor rotationally operates the artificial feel positioner to automatically operate the detent member through the screw channel to move the detent member and the selector interface to a desired position of the detent member and the selector interface.

METHOD AND SYSTEM WITH SENSORS FOR SENSING HAND OR FINGER POSITIONS FOR ADJUSTABLE CONTROL
A handle is adapted to receive one or more fingers or a portion of the hand. A set of sensors is mounted on or near the surface of the handle. Each sensor associated with a different region of the handle. A detector is arranged to detect contact of one or more of the sensors, by one or more fingers or a portion of a hand, to generate an observed touch-point map for the handle for a respective sampling interval. A controller can generate a gain or control response ratio in the electrical signals outputted in response to the observed touch-point map matching or being substantially similar to a reference touch-point map, where the electrical signals are derived from movement or displacement of the handle by a user.
ARRANGEMENT FOR ASSISTING A PARKING BRAKE AND CORRESPONDING RETROFIT KIT, AND PARKING BRAKE
The present invention relates to an arrangement (1) for assisting a parking brake (10), which parking brake (10) comprises a brake lever (12) which is supported in a carrier device (14) such that it is pivotable between a release position and a locking position and is able to be coupled to a braking system by means of a transmission means. The arrangement (1) comprises a lifting element (20) with an energy storage unit (22), which is operatively connected to the brake lever (12). The operative connection comprises a redirecting element (30) which is supported in a way pivotable about a pivot axis (32) and is arranged in such a way that the redirecting element couples the lifting element (20) to the brake lever (12).
OPERATING DEVICE
An operating device has: a lever configured to be operated by tilting; a resistor having a flat strip shape and provided on a surface of a substrate; and a slider configured to change an output voltage value by sliding on a surface of the resistor in accordance with tilting operation of the lever. In this operating device, the resistor has a low-resistance portion that has a lower resistance value than other portions of the resistor, and that is a portion in contact with the slider when the lever is in a neutral position.

Docking Station For Supporting A Remote Wireless Cab
A docking station may be used to provide a physical foundation and an operational base for a remote wireless cab. The docking station preferably includes a base member, a hydraulic pump and an electrical generator. The hydraulic pump is not needed for a remote wireless electric cab. The base member includes a support base and at least two upright mounting members. The at least two upright mounting members extend upward from the support base. The hydraulic pump and the electrical generator are preferably attached to a top surface of the support base. A remote wireless cab is attached to the at least two upright mounting members. The hydraulic pump is connected to the hydraulic pressure and return lines. The electrical generator is connected to the electrical bulkhead through the power cable. The remote wireless cab may be operated with the docking station.
