A vehicle frontal illumination system includes a bracket attached to a front of a vehicle, where the bracket includes a light receiving surface that faces the front of the vehicle. The system also includes one or more lights attached to the light receiving surface of the bracket such that the one or more lights face the front of the vehicle. The system further includes a control system in communication with the light, where the control system is configured to turn the one or more lights on to illuminate the front of the vehicle to reduce the likelihood of an animal vehicle collision.

An actuator device is arranged to activate the safety arrangement by releasing the locking device from the locking pin in mechanical way by an external force caused by the collision onto the actuator device, thereby allowing the pedal shaft to move from the operating position to the safety position.

The pedal arm is configured to be forcibly pushed in a forward direction by the collision rotation bracket during rotation of the collision rotation bracket, thereby causing the pedal arm to be forcibly rotated in the forward direction.

A pedal apparatus for a vehicle includes a pedal member to which a pedal arm is rotatably coupled, a cowl bracket fixedly coupled to the pedal member, and a collision rotation bracket coupled to the cowl bracket. The collision rotation bracket is configured to be rotated with respect to the cowl bracket when the collision rotation bracket comes into contact with a vehicle body fixture in accordance with rearward movement of the pedal member caused upon occurrence of a collision accident. A brake pedal apparatus for a vehicle is provided. The brake pedal apparatus includes a fixing bracket fixedly installed in a vehicle, a pedal arm coupled to the fixing bracket to be rotatable about a first axis, and a collision rack coupled to the fixing bracket to be rotatable about a second axis which is different from the first axis. The collision rack is configured to rotate upon a collision with a collision bracket. The fixing bracket supports the pedal arm to allow the pedal arm to be movable in a predetermined direction. The collision rack blocks the movement of the first axis of the pedal arm, and upon the collision with the collision bracket, the collision rack allows the pedal arm to be disengaged from the fixing bracket, thereby reducing the risk of injuring the driver.

A brake pedal apparatus for a vehicle is provided. The brake pedal apparatus includes a fixing bracket fixedly installed in a vehicle, a pedal arm coupled to the fixing bracket to be rotatable about a first axis, and a collision rack coupled to the fixing bracket to be rotatable about a second axis which is different from the first axis. The collision rack is configured to rotate upon a collision with a collision bracket. The fixing bracket supports the pedal arm to allow the pedal arm to be movable in a predetermined direction. The collision rack blocks the movement of the first axis of the pedal arm, and upon the collision with the collision bracket, the collision rack allows the pedal arm to be disengaged from the fixing bracket, thereby reducing the risk of injuring the driver.
