ELECTRONIC DEVICE
An electronic device includes a host, a display, a sliding plate, and a keyboard. The host has an operating surface. The display is pivoted to the host. The sliding plate is slidably disposed in the host, where the display is mechanically coupled to the sliding plate, and the sliding plate includes a plat portion and a recess portion that are arranged side by side. The keyboard is integrated to the host. The keyboard includes a key structure, where the key structure includes a key cap and a reciprocating element, and the key cap is exposed from the operating surface of the host. The reciprocating element is disposed between the key cap and the sliding plate and has a first end connected to the key cap and a second end contacting the sliding plate. The second end is located on a sliding path of the plat portion and the recess portion.
KEYBOARD
The present utility provides a keyboard, including a first operating area, a second primary key area, and a third shortcut module area which are provided on a keyboard carrier from the bottom up. The second primary key area is used for three rows of alphabet keys. The first operating area is used for setting of a space bar, and the bottom of the second primary key area and the left and right sides of the first operation area constitute left and right palm support positions. The third shortcut module area is divided into left and right sections corresponding to the left and right palm support positions of the first operating area, the left and right sections being provided with shortcut modules respectively. When a palm is on a palm support position, the palm can reach over the second primary key area to operate the shortcut module, the palm can reach over the second main key area to operate a shortcut module without lifting the wrist.
Tablet Keyboard System
In some aspects, the techniques described herein relate to a tablet keyboard system for a creating a laptop experience with a clamshell design, including: a backplate bottom edge being flush with the bottom frame boundary when the tablet keyboard system is in a closed position, and below the bottom frame boundary when the tablet keyboard system is in an open position allowing the tablet keyboard system to pivot the frame front edge in an upwards position creating an angle between the bottom frame boundary and a resting surface of the bottom frame boundary for optimizing an ergonomic typing position for a user. Furthermore, an inverse object system including: an inverse object tab for contact with a thumb of the user; and an inverse object recession recessed for contact with an index finger of the user are used with the tablet keyboard system.
Operation device
An operation device includes: a first substrate on which a wiring pattern is formed; an input unit that is mountable on the first substrate, and includes a member to be operated, a first wireless communication module that outputs a signal in accordance with operation of the member to be operated, and a first terminal that contacts the wiring pattern and supplies a power source to the first wireless communication module; and a position defining member that defines a position of the input unit on the first substrate.
COMPUTING DEVICE WITH ROTATABLE KEYBOARD
In one general aspect, a computing device includes a hardware processor, a memory, a first housing portion including a touch screen display, and a second housing portion coupled to the first housing portion by a hinge, where the second housing portion includes a rotatable keyboard.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MODIFYING KEYS OF AN ELECTRONIC DEVICE
An electronic device is provided that includes a display subassembly including a display that visually presents information. The electronic device also includes a base subassembly including plural keys and coupled to the display subassembly, the key having a key characteristic. The electronic device also includes one or more processors, and a data storage device having executable instructions accessible by the one or more processors. Responsive to execution of the instructions, the one or more processors are configured to obtain a user characteristic or an electronic device characteristic, and modify the key characteristic based on the user characteristic or the electronic device characteristic.
Tough device
The present invention provides a touch device, including a cover plate, a circuit board, a bracket, and a noise reduction layer group. The circuit board is fixed below the cover plate. The circuit board is provided with a trigger zone located on a bottom surface, and includes an elastic sheet located in the trigger zone. The bracket is disposed below the circuit board. The noise reduction layer group is disposed between the bracket and the elastic sheet.
TOUCH TYPE KEYBOARD USING TEMPORAL EVATUATION OF TIMESTAMPS TO MODIFY KEY FUNCTIONS
A keyboard using temporal evaluation of timestamps. The keyboard changes the functions of keys based the temporal relation of key events on home row. Other embodiments are also described and claimed.
Electronic device

The second end is located on a sliding path of the plat portion and the recess portion.
Dynamic configuration of a virtual keyboard
A system includes an electronic display to display a virtual keyboard and a processor communicatively coupled to the electronic display. In some embodiments, the virtual keyboard includes a plurality of keys. In certain embodiments, the electronic display receives a first string of erased characters and a second string of replacement characters. In certain embodiments, the processor compares the first string and the second string to determine a difference at corresponding character locations of the first string and the second string. In some embodiments, the processor increments a counter based on the comparison, the counter corresponding to a first character of the first string and a second character of the second string. In certain embodiments, the processor adjusts at least one of the plurality of keys of the virtual keyboard in response to the counter meeting a threshold.
