Wireless devices with flexible monitors and keyboards
A portable device (e.g., a wireless device such as a cell phone) is provided with a flexible keyboard and a flexible display screen. Such flexible components may be stored in the housing of the portable device when not in use. The flexible display screen and flexible keyboard may be expanded from the housing when the flexible components are utilized by a user. Non-flexible display and input components may be provided on the exterior of the portable device such that the device may be used, in some form, while the flexible components are stored. In one embodiment, a portion of the flexible display (or flexible keyboard) may be utilized when the flexible display (or flexible keyboard) is stored in said first housing.
Security apparatus for a tablet
A security apparatus comprises a support assembly and a keyboard retainer. The support assembly comprises a first retaining portion, a second retaining portion pivotally coupled to the first retaining portion, and a lock assembly defining a locked state and an unlocked state. The keyboard retainer comprises at least one base member pivotally coupled to the first and second retaining portions and included a top surface extending along a top surface plane, and an opposing bottom surface. The at least one base member comprises one or more securing members extending from the bottom surface of the first base, and one or more retainers extending above the top surface plane of the first and each retainer comprising a retaining member extending away from the first base.
Modularized computing and input devices
A computing device can be reconfigurable to include one or more electrical devices in various configurations. The computing device can include a base forming an input surface configured to receive user input. The base can receive one or more input devices, such as, displays or keyboards. The base can include a hinge rotatably attached to the base and configured to removably retain an electronic device, such as, a display. The computing device can include a coupling mechanism having a first retaining portion and a second retaining portion rotatably coupled to an intermediate portion. The first and second retaining portions can be configured to removably retain electrical devices to the coupling mechanism.
Hinges for electronic devices and accessory devices
An accessory device for an electronic device is disclosed. The accessory device includes multiple sections, with one section holding the electronic device, and another section having an input mechanism, such as a keyboard. The accessory device includes a hinge assembly that allows relative movement of the sections with respect each other. An additional hinge assembly is integrated with the section carrying the electronic device, and provides additional flexibility and range of motion of the section, thereby allowing a user to position the electronic device at multiple different angles relative to the section carrying the input mechanism. Also, each hinge assembly may include multiple roller and spacer elements, as well as a retention structure passing through each roller element and spacer element. The retention structure can provide tension to increase the frictional force between the roller and spacer elements, and/or provide counterbalance to offset the weight of the electronic device.
SYSTEM FOR PACKAGING A PORTABLE COMPUTER
A portable computer system comprising at least two flat screen displays that is configurable so that in a stowed state, the system is conveniently carried and the flat screens are protected.
DETACHABLE ELECTRONIC DEVICE AND DOCK THEREOF
A detachable electronic device and a dock thereof are provided. The detachable electronic device includes a first machine body, a second machine body, and a dock. The dock includes a pair of fixing brackets, a pair of rotating axles, a latch module disposed between the rotating axles, a lock base, and a linkage kit. The latch module can be arranged in a locked state or an unlocked state to lock or release the second machine body. The lock base is slidably disposed on one of the fixing brackets. The linkage kit has one end fixed to the latch module, and the other another end slidably sleeved onto the lock base. When an anti-theft lock is locked to the lock base, the lock base restricts a displacement of the linkage kit, and the linkage kit restricts the latch module to the locked state.
WIRELESS KEYBOARD
This application discloses a wireless keyboard. The wireless keyboard includes a connection portion. The connection portion includes an accommodating cavity with an opening at an end and used for accommodating an electronic stylus. A wireless charging coil is arranged in the accommodating cavity. A charging interface and a wireless charging control module are arranged in the wireless keyboard. The wireless charging control module is connected to the charging interface and the wireless charging coil. The charging interface can receive a direct current signal. The wireless charging control module can convert, if it is detected that a direct current signal is inputted to the charging interface, the direct current signal into an alternating current signal and transmit the alternating current signal to the wireless charging coil. The wireless charging coil generates an alternating electromagnetic field in response to the alternating current signal, to wirelessly charge the electronic stylus.
Accessory devices for electronic devices
An accessory device with a cover and keyboard section is described. The keyboard section includes a keyboard and a touchpad, while the cover section includes multiple segments. The cover section orients the electronic device such that a user can access the electronic device, the keyboard, and the touchpad. The cover section is rotationally coupled to the keyboard section by one or more hinge assemblies (including clutches and springs), allowing the cover section and the electronic device to rotate relative to the keyboard section. The cover section includes a first and second segment rotationally coupled together. To further adjust the electronic device, the first segment remains coupled to the electronic device, allowing the first segment and the electronic device to rotate relative to the second segment. The cover section can then suspend the electronic device over the keyboard section, and the electronic device does not contact the keyboard section.
Housings with electrical contacts
An example apparatus Includes a first hinge, a first housing having a hinge region and a support panel, where the support panel is to extend from the hinge region. The apparatus also Includes a first display device rotatably coupled to the support panel via the first hinge, a second housing having a set of external electrical contact to provide power to a removable input device, a second hinge to rotatably couple the first housing to the second housing, and a second display device fixedly coupled to the second housing.
Electronic apparatus
An electronic apparatus includes a host, a main display, a keyboard, an auxiliary display, and a supporting mechanism. The main display is pivotally connected to the host. The keyboard is slidably disposed on the host. The auxiliary display is disposed on the host and is arranged side by side with the keyboard. The auxiliary display includes a movable end and a lifting end, the keyboard contacts the movable end, and the movable end is slidably connected to the host. The supporting mechanism includes a first link, a second link, and a third link. The first link is slidably connected to the host and is pivotally connected to the second link. The second link is pivotally connected to the host and is pivotally connected to the third link. The third link is pivotally connected to the lifting end.
