The OCP connector is configured to connect to an OCP network interface card (NIC). The controller is configured for bandwidth allocation, in-situ control and power-on/off control of the OCP NIC. The selector gates a single-homed host or a dual-homed host based on working mode configuration information stored in the controller. The motherboard connector is configured to connect to a motherboard device.
COMMUNICATING SYSTEM COMPRISING A REMOVABLE DEVICE AND A DOCKING DEVICE
The present invention relates to a communication system comprising a removable device comprising a display screen, and a docking device apt to receive the removable device.
Each of the removable device and the docking device comprises an extreme high frequency communication chip, the communication chips being positioned opposite each other when the removable device is received in the docking device and are apt to exchange digital data between each other.
The display screen is apt to display images from the digital data sent by the communication chip of the docking device to the communication chip of the removable device.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR DETECTING HARD DISK CONNECTION AND DISCONNECTION DURING A COMPUTER SESSION
A device to detect hot-plugging and hot-unplugging of hard disk and the hard disk type includes a connector and a control circuit. When hot-plugged, the hard disk is coupled to the connector, the control circuit comprises delay circuit and latch circuit. The delay circuit delays a falling edge of the third signal and outputs a delay signal, the latch circuit processes the first and second signals and outputs a logical result as a latch signal. The control circuit determines the connected or disconnected status and type of the hard disk according to the respective levels of the first and second signals, the delay signal, and the latch signal. The delay signal and the latch signal work to correct error of the control circuit in determining connectivity and non-connectivity during a session due to asynchronous changes in signal levels of the first and second signals.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE COMPRISING CONNECTOR AND METHOD FOR SENSING DISCONNECTION
Disclosed is an electronic device including: a USB connector connected to a USB plug of an external device; a high-speed interface; a voltage source for supplying a voltage to the high-speed interface; a first circuit portion connected to a ground portion, and has a second impedance higher than a first impedance of the high-speed interface; and a processor. The processor is configured to monitor the external device by using the high-speed interface in a first interval of a first frame, form a disconnection sensing path by forming a connection between the first circuit portion and a second circuit portion of the external device, and use the disconnection sensing path to determine whether the connection between the USB connector and the USB plug has been disconnected. The second circuit portion may have a fourth impedance higher than a third impedance of an external high-speed interface. Various other embodiments are also possible.
Signal channel switching method, display terminal and computer-readable storage medium
The present application discloses a signal channel switching method, a display terminal and a computer-readable storage medium. The signal channel switching method includes the following operations: establishing a data connection with a first external device connected with a first hot plug pin; obtaining a first voltage detected by a second hot plug pin, and judging whether the first voltage conforms to a preset rule; if the first voltage conforms to the preset rule, obtaining information of a second external device connected with the second hot plug pin; cutting off the data connection with the first external device and establishing a data connection with the second external device according to the information of the second external device.
Input/output terminal and electronic device comprising same
Disclosed are an input/output terminal for connecting an electronic device to an external device and an electronic device comprising the input/output terminal, the input/output terminal comprising: a signal pin allowing signals to be transmitted/received between the electronic device and the external device; a ground pin connected to a ground part of the electronic device; and a resistant material disposed at the end part of the signal pin or the ground pin. Other various embodiments are possible.
System With Speaker, Transceiver and Related Devices
An audio system includes a base station, an interface that enables transmission of audio content from a handheld media device to the base station via a cable, and one or more remote speakers configured to receive the audio content from the base station. The base station includes a housing, a speaker integrated within the housing to produce an audible signal from the audio content provided by the handheld media device, and a transceiver integrated within the housing for wirelessly transmitting the audio content to the one or more remote speakers. The one or more remote speakers are configured to wirelessly relay the audio content, thereby to supply the audio content beyond the transmission range of the transceiver.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR TRANSMITTING VIDEO, NETWORK, AND USB SIGNALS OVER EXTENSION MEDIA
In some embodiments, systems, devices, and methods are provided that allow a host device to communicate video information, network information, and USB information over USB via a USB host controller. The video information and the network information are encapsulated within USB and communicated by the USB host controller.
In some embodiments, the USB information communicated by the USB host controller is further communicated over a non-USB extension medium by an upstream facing port device and one or more downstream facing port devices.
Systems and Methods for Enabling Communication Between USB Type-C Connections and Legacy Connections Over an Extension Medium
Techniques for supporting USB and video communication over an extension medium are provided. In some embodiments, an upstream facing port device (UFP device) is coupled to legacy connectors of a host device, and a downstream facing port device (DFP device) is coupled to a USB Type-C receptacle of the sink device that may provide both USB and DisplayPort information. The UFP device and DFP device communicate to properly configure the USB Type-C connection for use in the extension environment. In some embodiments, a source device is coupled to the UFP device via a USB Type-C connection, and legacy video and USB devices are coupled to the DFP device. The UFP device and DFP device again communicate to cause the source device to properly configure the USB Type-C connection for use in the extension environment.
