Methods and Systems for Detecting Persons in a Smart Home Environment
The various implementations described herein include methods, devices, and systems for detecting motion and persons. In one aspect, a method is performed at a smart home system that includes a video camera, a server system, and a client device. The video camera captures video and audio, and wirelessly communicates, via the server system, the captured data to the client device. The server system: (1) receives and stores the captured data from the video camera; (2) determines whether an event has occurred, including detected motion; (3) in accordance with a determination that the event has occurred, identifies video and audio corresponding to the event; and (4) classifies the event. The client device receives information indicative of the identified events, displays a user interface for reviewing the video and audio stored by the remote server system, and displays the at least one classification for the event.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR A SCALABLE, COLLABORATIVE, REAL-TIME, GRAPHICAL LIFE-MANAGEMENT INTERFACE
Systems and methods for providing a scalable graphical user interface. In an embodiment, the user interface comprises a main display area that includes a timeline across a first axis and a set of content (e.g., media and/or applications) categories along a second axis that is orthogonal to the first axis, such that each content category is associated with a row or column across the timeline. As each content is created or consumed, the timeline is populated with a selectable representation of the content in the row or column associated with the content category corresponding to the content at a point on the timeline representing a time at which the content was created or consumed, such that the content is accessible to a user via the representation of the content.
MEDIA BROWSING USER INTERFACE WITH INTELLIGENTLY SELECTED REPRESENTATIVE MEDIA ITEMS
The present disclosure generally relates to navigating a collection of media items. In accordance with one embodiment, in response to receiving an input, a device displays a first view of a collection of media items, including concurrently displaying a representation of a first time period and a representation of a second time period. In accordance with a determination that a current time is associated with a first recurring temporal event: the representation of the first time period includes a first representative media item and the representation of the second time period includes a second representative media item. In accordance with a determination that the current time is associated with a second recurring temporal event, the representation of the first time period includes a third representative media item and the representation of the second time period includes a fourth representative media item.
Generation of electronic media content collections
A system includes a computer-readable storage medium storing a program and method for generating collections of media content. The program and method provide for selecting a plurality of narrative group criteria for a media content collection, the plurality of narrative group criteria being stored in a database; for each narrative group criterion in the plurality, selecting a respective media content item associated with the narrative group criterion and with a user, based on a time the respective media content item was generated and a keyword, image, video or audio in the respective media content item, determining a title that corresponds to the narrative group criterion, and updating the media content collection to include the title and the respective media content item; and causing the media content collection to be displayed on a computing device of the user.
Client side system and method for search backed calendar user interface
A method is provided to produce a custom calendar user interface (UI) display on an electronic device display screen comprising: providing a search query to a user device; sending the search query over the network to a server system; receiving over the network by one or more user devices from a server system, information that identifies one or more code objects that match the search query; using the identified one or more identified code objects by the one or more user devices to generate one or more visual content items within a calendar user interface (UI) grid display on their device display screens.
Method and system for using access patterns to suggest or sort objects
Some embodiments improve object accessibility within a user interface based on a set of access patterns associated with the object. Improving accessibility for an object may include positioning a shortcut for the object to allow for quick access to the object. Another example includes executing commands to traverse a user interface, without receiving user input, to display a screen for accessing the object. Another example includes establishing a connection for accessing the object prior to receiving a request to access the object. A trigger for improving the accessibility for the object may be programmed based on a set of conditions detected when the object was previously accessed. Thereafter, detection of the same set of conditions triggers an improvement in the accessibility for the object. When the set of conditions corresponding to the trigger is no longer detected, the system may revert back to the default accessibility for the object.
Curated media library
In some implementations, a computing device may generate a day view, month views, and year view that show cards specific to each view. The cards include images, videos, and/or other assets from a media library that reflect a corresponding time frame of the card on which the assets are displayed. A selected view is presented in a graphical user interface (GUI) for interaction with a user of the media library. Upon selection of an asset displayed to the GUI, the view is switched to show more assets from a time frame similar to the selected asset while maintaining a focus on the selected asset.
Information processing device, information processing method, and program
There is provided an information processing device including a display control unit configured to display pieces of content at a first position of a screen, a condition setting unit configured to set a clustering condition for the pieces of content in accordance with a user operation, and a clustering unit configured to classify the pieces of content into a cluster in accordance with the clustering condition. The display control unit moves a display of the pieces of content from the first position toward a second position corresponding to the cluster.
MATERIAL PRESENTATION METHOD, ELECTRONIC DEVICE, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
Provided are a material presentation method an electronic device and a storage medium. The material presentation method includes steps described below. A data update request is received from a client. In response to the data update request carrying a splash presentation identifier of a splash presentation material, a news feed presentation material corresponding to the splash presentation identifier is acquired. The news feed presentation material is inserted into a preset presentation position of a news feed list page.
Online artwork gallery systems and methods
In one preferred form of the present invention, there is provided a computer implemented art gallery system (10) for use by a community of users (12), the system (10) comprising: a data collector (14) for storing representations (16) of artworks (18) that have been created by artists; and a timeline facility (20) configured for attempting to ensure that, upon user requests (22) for representations (16) of the artworks (18), each representation (16) corresponding with a respective one of the artworks (18) is able to be used to provide a time line reveal (26) of a special component (28) of the corresponding artwork (18); the special component (28) of each artwork (18) comprising a hidden or inconspicuous component of the artwork (18).
