DIFFERENCE ENGINE FOR MEDIA CHANGE MANAGEMENT
A universal media difference engine generates a change list specifying the edits required to create an edited revision of a media composition from a base version. The difference engine determines the format of the media composition, locates and installs a plug-in corresponding to the format, and uses the plug-in to parse the composition and generate the change list. The supported compositional formats include formats native to specific media editing applications, as well as interoperable formats. The difference engine is able to convert rich change lists expressed in native form to canonical change lists that are compatible with multiple editing applications. Timeline, mixer configuration, and scene graph composition types are supported. Content management system storage requirements are reduced by storing a base version and change lists instead of multiple revisions of the composition. A media composition recreation engine recreates an edited revision by applying a change list to a prior version.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR VIEWING CONFERENCE
A method and a device for viewing a conference are provided. In the method, after a wide-view video of a specific conference, related conference event data, and speech content of each participant are obtained, a highlight video of the specific conference is correspondingly generated. Accordingly, the efficiency of conference viewing is improved.
Video display for displaying a series of representative images for video
A video display apparatus for displaying a catalogue of one or more candidate video items for replay, each video item being represented in the catalogue by a catalogue entry having at least one displayed representative image comprises a user control device operable to resize a displayed catalogue entry by a select-and-drag operation; and means responsive to a resizing of a catalogue entry to select a number of distinct representative images, for display in respect of that video item, so that the number displayed increases with increasing size of the catalogue entry while the display size of each representative image stays substantially constant with respect to changes in the catalogue entry size.
Electronic device for generating video comprising character and method thereof
An electronic device and method are disclosed. The electronic device includes a display, a processor and memory. The processor may implement the method, including analyzing, by a processor, a first video to identify any characters included in the first video, displaying one or more icons representing one or more characters identified in the first video via a display, receiving, by input circuitry, a first user input selecting a first icon representing a first character from among the one or more icons, based on the first user input, selecting image frames of the first video that include the first character from among image frames included in the first video, and generating, by the processor, a second video including the selected image frames. A second embodiment includes automatically selecting images from a gallery including one or more characters for generation of a video.
Electronic device and control method thereof
An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a display, at least one processor, and at least one memory configured to store instructions that cause the at least one processor to obtain first information from a first still image frame that is included in a first moving image, obtain second information from the first moving image, identify at least one image function based on at least one of the first information or the second information, and control the display to display at least one function execution object for executing the at least one image function. Various other embodiments can be provided.
Smart summarization, indexing, and post-processing for recorded document presentation
Systems and methods for providing summarization, indexing, and post-processing of a recorded document presentation are provided. The system accesses a structured document and recordings associated with a recorded presentation given using the structured document. The system analyzes, using machine-trained models, the structured document, audio and video recordings, and recording of operations performed during the presentation. The analyzing comprises generating a transcript of the audio recording, determining context of components of the structured document, and deriving context from the video recordings and recording of operations. Based on the analyzing, the system segments the recorded presentation into a plurality of segments and generates an index of the plurality of segments that is used for post-processing.
TRAINING DEVICE AND TRAINING SYSTEM
A training device according to an embodiment may be used for training for surgery using a surgical system that includes: a patient side apparatus including first and second robot arms; and a doctor side control apparatus including first and second input devices configured to operate the first and second robot arms respectively and a display. The training device may include: a training control unit configured to display, on the display, a first virtual surgical instrument that moves in response to operation on the first input device, and a second virtual surgical instrument that moves in response to operation on the second input device; and a storage storing therein a surgical video. The training control unit is configured to display on the display the surgical video stored in the storage with overlaying the first virtual surgical instrument and the second virtual surgical instrument on the surgical video.
USING INTERPOLATION TO GENERATE A VIDEO FROM STATIC IMAGES
A media application selects, from a collection of images associated with a user account, candidate pairs of images, where each pair includes a first static image and a second static image from the user account. The media application applies a filter to select a particular pair of images from the candidate pairs of images. The media application generates, using an image interpolator, one or more intermediate images based on the particular pair of images. The media application generates a video that includes three or more frames arranged in a sequence, where a first frame of the sequence is the first static image, a last frame of the sequence is the second static image, and each of the one or more intermediate images is a corresponding intermediate frame of the sequence between the first frame and the last frame.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CROWDSOURCING A VIDEO SUMMARY FOR CREATING AN ENHANCED VIDEO SUMMARY
System and method for crowdsourcing a video summary for creating an enhanced video summary are disclosed. The method includes receiving videos, analysing the videos, creating the video summary of the videos using a building block model, storing the video summary in a video library database, crowdsourcing the video summary to at least one of the plurality of users, enabling the at least one of the plurality of users to review the video summary and identify at least one new characteristic, enabling the at least one of the plurality of users to share the at least one new characteristic on the platform, comparing at least one existing characteristic of the building block model with the corresponding new characteristic, reconciling the video summary along with at least one inserted new characteristic, creating a new building block model, editing the video summary for creating the enhanced video summary.
GRAPHIC ADVERTISEMENT CREATION PROCESS
A graphic creation process that is operable to create an advertisement for use on the internet movie database, in particular in an internet movie database frame. The present invention provides a process for selecting and placing at least a first content and a second content within an internet movie database frame. The first content and second content are image files selected from available sources and are placed within an internet movie database frame utilizing suitable computer based tools. The internet movie database frame is divided into at least two sections utilizing the process of the present invention. A divider that can be either visible or invisible is employed to create at least two sections for placing content therein. Text images can be further added wherein the font can be adjusted to align with a desired mood or tone of the advertisement.
