Systems and methods for generating, administering and analyzing a user experience study are provided. In particular, intents can be generated from a user experience study by applying one or more screener questions to participants and subjecting the screened participants to one or more tasks. Corresponding clickstreams and success data for each participant engaging in the tasks can be recorded. The success and clickstream data can also be aggregated for all the screened participants as aggregated results. The approach merges the frames with the enhanced text into the video stream, creating an enhanced video stream and sends the enhanced video stream to requesting users.

Several ways are provided for a viewer of a movie to create a deep tag, that is, a bookmark for a segment of the movie. The deep tag can be associated with descriptive text and sent to an address provided by the viewer, either an e-mail address or an instant messaging address. Additionally, before the deep tag is created, it can be checked whether the content owner of the movie is known. If known, the content owner's rules, if any, regarding deep tagging are followed. If unknown, a set of registered content owners can be alerted of the presence of new content. When ownership of the new content is established, the already-created deep tags can be updated in accordance with the content owner's rules, if any, regarding deep tagging.

A method includes generating a text file related to media content. The media content comprises a first segment and a second segment. A second portion of the text file includes a second time of the second segment and represents audio in the second segment or video in the second segment. A search query is received at a playback device, and the playback device plays the media content starting at the second time in response to the search query matching the second portion of the text file.
