AVERAGE TREATMENT EFFECT FOR PAIRED DATA

Embodiments of the present invention provide computer-implemented methods, computer program products and computer systems. Embodiments of the present invention can, identify a plurality of data variables within a multivariate event dataset. Embodiments of the present invention can then formalize a causal inference between at least two identified data variables within the multivariate event dataset and generate a structural framework of an average effect value for the multivariate event dataset based on the formalization of the causal inference of the identified data variables. Embodiments of the present invention can then calculate an inverse propensity score for the generated structural framework of the average effect based on a type of identified variable, a predetermined time associated with the identified variable, and a causal connection strength between the identified variables.

An urban remote sensing image scene classification method in consideration of spatial relationships is provided and includes following steps of: cutting a remote sensing image into sub-images in an even and non-overlapping manner; performing a visual information coding on each of the sub-images to obtain a feature image Fv; inputting the feature image Fv into a crossing transfer unit to obtain hierarchical spatial characteristics; performing convolution of dimensionality reduction on the hierarchical spatial characteristics to obtain dimensionality-reduced hierarchical spatial characteristics; and performing a softmax model based classification on the dimensionality-reduced hierarchical spatial characteristics to obtain a classification result. The method comprehensively considers the role of two kinds of spatial relationships being regional spatial relationship and long-range spatial relationship in classification, and designs three paths in a crossing transfer unit for relationships fusion, thereby obtaining a better urban remote sensing image scene classification result.

Detecting backdoor attacks using exclusionary reclassification

Embodiments relate to a system, program product, and method for processing an untrusted data set to automatically determine which data points there are poisonous. A neural network is trained network using potentially poisoned training data. Each of the training data points is classified using the network to retain the activations of at least one hidden layer, and segment those activations by the label of corresponding training data. Clustering is applied to the retained activations of each segment, and a clustering assessment is conducted to remove an identified cluster from the data set, form a new training set, and train a second neural model with the new training set. The removed cluster and corresponding data are applied to the trained second neural model to analyze and classify data in the removed cluster as either legitimate or poisonous.
