An image processing apparatus includes a processor configured to: in response to a prior print instruction, impose multiple pieces of prior image data to a subset of multiple imposition regions of a continuous paper sheet that is enabled to be imposed with the prior image data in response to the prior print instruction; and in response to a subsequent print instruction, impose subsequent image data to an unplanned region that is not imposed with the prior image data, from among the imposition regions serving as targets of imposition after the prior print instruction.

An image processing device includes a job entry unit, a link setter, an association setter, an additional item setter, and a controller. The job entry unit enters jobs. The link setter associates the jobs entered by the job entry unit. The association setter associates one or more items common to the associated jobs. The additional item setter adds an additional item to one of the jobs, the additional item being for entering correction item information for correcting item information of a predetermined item among the one or more items associated by the association setter. A printing apparatus includes a print head, a conveyance device and a control device configured to: obtain image data each corresponding to a respective divided image; generate print data, including combining at least two lines of a plurality of lines obtained by dividing the divided image; print the print image based on the print data; determine whether to perform printing based on next print data after performing the printing based on one print data; if yes, stop printing of a predetermined number of lines from an end of the one print data when performing the printing based on the one print data; and combine a first line of the one print data and a second line of the next print data, the number of the first and the second lines corresponding to the predetermined number of the lines.

The method includes executing a digitized pre-process wherein a submitted image is prepared to be a printable image, identifying what marking options are to be applied to the printable image, and executing a real-time feed operation wherein the printable image is modified based on the marking options and applied to a printed article.

A printing system that is communicable with an image management server through a network includes an information processing apparatus and an image forming apparatus. The information processing apparatus controls a display to display a print setting screen for receiving a print setting that designates printing of a specific color image superimposed on an image to be printed, transmits the specific color image corresponding to the print setting to the image management server, acquires storage location information from the image management server, and transmits print data to the image forming apparatus. The image forming apparatus includes a printer. A printing system includes an information processing apparatus including first circuitry and an image forming apparatus. The first circuitry is configured to receive designation of superimposing an image of a particular color on a print target image, associate the image of the particular color with the print target image in response to a reception of the designation of superimposing, and transmit print data including the print target image and the image of the particular color to the image forming apparatus. The image forming apparatus includes second circuitry configured to receive the print data and interpret the print data, and a printer engine configured to superimpose the image of the particular color on the print target image in printing, according to interpretation of the print data.
