The server-for-service holds profile information, which defines processing executed on the image data uploaded from the image processing apparatus, in association with authorization information on a user. Thereafter, the server-for-service executes the processing in accordance with the profile information on the image data in response to a request from a terminal device or the image processing apparatus.

An information processing apparatus includes a processor configured to: transmit authentication information to a first image forming apparatus; acquire, from the first image forming apparatus, job information acquired by the first image forming apparatus from a server using the authentication information, the job information being information on one or more jobs corresponding to the authentication information; cause a display to display a screen presenting the acquired job information; receive, on the displayed screen, selection of one or more jobs to print using the first image forming apparatus; and transmit selection information indicating one or more selected jobs selected by the selection to the first image forming apparatus to instruct the first image forming apparatus to acquire the one or more selected jobs from the server.

An information processing apparatus includes a processor configured to: transmit authentication information to a first image forming apparatus; acquire, from the first image forming apparatus, job information acquired by the first image forming apparatus from a server using the authentication information, the job information being information on one or more jobs corresponding to the authentication information; cause a display to display a screen presenting the acquired job information; receive, on the displayed screen, selection of one or more jobs to print using the first image forming apparatus; and transmit selection information indicating one or more selected jobs selected by the selection to the first image forming apparatus to instruct the first image forming apparatus to acquire the one or more selected jobs from the server.

The processing circuitry is configured to: accept a job requesting print output of print data from an information terminal; determine one or more printing companies having a printing machine that can execute a job, among a plurality of printing companies, based on a state of a printing machine held by each one of the plurality of printing companies and a content of the job; and transmit information of the one or more printing companies determined, to the information terminal to display the information on the information terminal.

A system according to exemplary embodiments includes an information processing apparatus and a cloud print service (CPS) associated with a company tenant. The information processing apparatus determines whether a client terminal having received a print request performs remote connection, and transmits a result of determination and print job data corresponding to the print request to the CPS. The CPS causes another CPS that is associated with a public tenant and connected to the CPS via a network to hold the print job data transmitted from the information processing apparatus based on the result of the determination transmitted from the information processing apparatus.

An example image forming apparatus includes a communication device to communicate with an external apparatus, a printing engine to perform a printing job, and a processor to, based on receiving a printing request for the printing job, perform accounting processing for the printing job, and control the printing engine such that the printing job is performed. The processor, based on an error occurring in the printing job, is to control the communication device to transmit proceeding history information of the printing job and accounting information to another image forming apparatus.

Which file to be printed is determined in a case where a print instruction is given from a user in a conversation service. A server system that provides a conversation service includes a determination unit configured to determine that a print instruction has been given from a user in the conversation service, and a posting unit configured to, on a basis of the determination unit determining that the print instruction has been given, post on the conversation service a name of a file as a print target candidate, the file being uploaded to the conversation service most recently before the determination unit determines that the print instruction has been given.
