An information processing system includes: an authenticator that authenticates one or more image processing apparatuses using authentication information of a user in response to receipt of the authentication information; and a server including a processor configured to permit the user to use an image processing apparatus that has location information related to the authentication information of the user among the authenticated one or more image processing apparatuses.

Customer data includes contract events, environmental events, service events, device usage analytics and personnel events. The application includes an obtainment unit that obtains image data via a network using the network communication unit, a job input unit that inputs a print job of the obtained image data into the image forming apparatus, and an error-recording-job input unit that inputs an error recording job into the image forming apparatus when an error occurs in execution of the application and the job input unit does not input the print job.

An installation method includes installing a universal printer driver for an image forming apparatus in a user terminal for use by a user; determining whether or not there is installed a dedicated printer driver in the user terminal; and upon determining that there is installed a dedicated printer driver in the user terminal, performing a presentation process of presenting to the user a function that will no longer be available for use if the dedicated printer driver is uninstalled.

An image forming apparatus transmits job histories that satisfy monitoring conditions to a storage service and stores job histories that do not satisfy the conditions in an information processing apparatus. When a job execution user is added to the monitoring conditions, the job history information corresponding to the added job execution user among the job histories stored in the information processing apparatus is transmitted to the storage service. The storage service manages the job history that satisfies the monitoring condition received from the image forming apparatus and notifies the administrator. When the job history information that does not meet the monitoring conditions is received, the information is notified to the administrator.

An information processing apparatus includes a processor configured to: in a case where an intended image forming device is caused to perform printing of an image indicated by print data via a server device in a manner that the print data is transmitted to the server device in response to an instruction from a user while the print data is held in a storage unit, and then a printing instruction is performed on the image forming device by the user, and printing with the print data has been ended at a predetermined timing, execute a process of deleting the print data from the storage unit.
