A printing apparatus registers the printing apparatus in a cloud print service, and generates a printer queue storing a print job to be transmitted to the printing apparatus on the cloud print service. If the printing apparatus is associated with a virtual printer on the cloud print service, the printing apparatus acquires information of print jobs managed by the virtual printer from the cloud print service. If an operation for printing the print jobs managed by the virtual printer is received, the printing apparatus gives an instruction for moving a print job that is specified on the basis of at least the acquired information of the print jobs to the printer queue for the printing apparatus provided on the cloud print service, and acquires the moved print job.

An information processing apparatus capable of reducing the labor and time expended by a user for an instruction in reservation printing is provided. According to examples, an apparatus may include a processor and a memory on which is stored instructions that when executed by the processor, cause the processor to determine that data stored in a memory device of a printer cartridge installed in a printing device is to be updated. The printing device may be in remote communication with the apparatus via a network connection. The instructions may also cause the processor to identify update data that is to be used to update the data stored in the memory device. The instructions may further cause the processor to communicate, via the network connection with the printing device, the identified update data to the printing device. The printing device may update the data stored in the memory device of the printer cartridge with the update data.

A method of operating an image forming apparatus includes receiving a request to perform an image forming operation, performing a calibration operation based on obtained urgency level information in response to the request, when a condition to perform a calibration is determined to be satisfied, the urgency level indicating a level of urgency to perform the image forming operation and the calibration is to standardize standardizing color representation of the image to be formed, and performing the image forming operation after the calibration operation is performed.

The illustrative embodiments described herein provide systems and methods for notifying a user when a set of characters are identified in a media file. In one embodiment, a method includes receiving a set of characters inputted by the user of a computing device, playing the media file, transcribing the media file to form a transcription, and determining whether the transcription of the media file includes the set of characters. The method also includes initiating a notification prompt on a graphical user interface of the computing device in response to determining that the media file includes the set of characters.

The printer may receive first user identification information from an external device and receive a registration request including first print setting information from the external device. In a first case where the first user identification information and the registration request are received from the external device and registration related information associated with the first user identification information among the one or more user identification information in a memory is permission information, the printer may register the first print setting information included in the registration request in the memory in association with the first user identification information. The terminal device may register the file related information and print setting information in association with the printer related information in the print intermediation server.
