In some examples, a supply component for a printing device includes a memory device comprising a plurality of corrective data to produce a corresponding plurality of color tables each customized for a respective media type of a plurality of media types, wherein a respective corrective data of the plurality of corrective data corresponds to nodes of a reference color table for the printing device that is able to accept the plurality of media types for printing. The respective corrective data includes a plurality of residual values to transform the nodes of the reference color table to a customized color table for use with a selected media type of the plurality of media types.

An image forming apparatus has an office direct print function, and when a non-installed font that is not installed in the image forming apparatus is included in application data, a font substitution guidance screen is displayed on a display. A drop-down list that is an operator for selecting a substitute font is provided in the font substitution guidance screen, whereby a user can arbitrarily select a substitute font. The font substitution guidance screen displays also a sample character group having a typeface according to the selected substitute font.

An image processing apparatus comprises a generation unit configured to generate, based on print data, pieces of information to be used for generating intermediate data based on the print data, and store the pieces of information in an external storage device connected to the image processing apparatus, and a rendering unit configured to generate the intermediate data using the pieces of information, and generate a raster image by performing rendering based on the generated intermediate data.

A printed graphical code has H lines and a W columns i (i=1, . . . W) and a pattern of H×W cells, each at the intersection of a column and a line. A setting storage device, includes: a storage unit that stores setting information and adjustment information to be associated with each other; and a control unit that in case that first setting information is introduced, compares contents in relation to predefined items of first adjustment information associated with the first setting information with corresponding contents of second adjustment information having been stored in the storage unit and, according to a comparison result, controls whether to store the first setting information to be associated with the second adjustment information stored in the storage unit or to store the first setting information and the first adjustment information associated with the first setting information.
