A raster image conversion device is inputted with printing data and converts this printing data into raster image data to be outputted to a printing device. A storage unit stores printing environment data stipulating conditions for converting the printing data into the raster image data. An operating unit sets or edits the printing environment data. A conversion processing unit converts the printing data into the raster image data, based on the printing environment data. The printing environment data includes printing template information having a plurality of printing slots. The operating unit comprises an operating mode enabling the printing template information to be generated or edited. The conversion processing unit is inputted with or creates printing data made up of a plurality of pages, and, based on the printing template information, allocates a printing position and printing range of each page of the printing data to the printing slots.

In a printing system capable of supplying a sheet of a job having undergone print processing by the printing unit of a printing apparatus to a post-processing unit capable of executing at least a specific type of post-processing among a plurality of types of post-processes, when the target job requires the specific type of post-processing, the printing apparatus is inhibited from executing print processing of the job without explicitly determining a sheet necessary for the print processing of the job by a user using a user interface unit. When the target job does not require the specific type of post-processing, the printing apparatus is permitted to execute print processing of the job without explicitly determining a sheet necessary for the print processing of the job by the user using the user interface unit.

A transform wrapper is stored on a memory device and the memory device may be included in a printer cartridge. The transform wrapper may dynamically build a transform map for a printer based on metadata stored at the memory device. The metadata may indicate at least one of a type of depositing material, transform map, print media and printer.

A printing apparatus includes a printing unit, a post-processing unit, and a controller. The controller includes a paper-type setting section configured to set a paper type of a paper feeding section, a storing section configured to store a plurality of paper types for which specific post processing is possible, and a control executing section. The printing output data includes paper type designation information, paper feeding section designation information, and post-processing designation information. When the post-processing designation information designates selection of the specific post processing and predetermined conditions including a condition that a paper type of second paper set by the paper-type setting section coincides with any one of the plurality of paper types stored in the storing section are satisfied, the control executing section controls the printing unit and the post-processing unit according to the paper feeding section designation information and the post-processing designation information irrespective of designation by the paper type designation information.

In some embodiments, the instant invention provides for a computer-implemented method that includes at least the following steps of: periodically receiving investment transactional data identifying investment transactions of a plurality of investors; automatically determining, base on the investment transactional data, a document to be mailed to each investor of the plurality of investors; automatically generating a delivery data for each mailing to be mailed to each investor of the plurality of investors, where the delivery data includes: bucslip data or trade confirmation data, assembling data, and unique production control bar code data generated based on the assembling data and an investment transaction identifier from the investment transactional data; and printing a unique production control bar code based on the unique production control bar code data, where the unique production control bar code is configured to be used for: assembling each mailing envelope, and tracking such mailing envelope.

A textile printing system for digital printing of colored images onto typically colored fabrics, digitally using print nozzles or other digital means, the nozzles printing print pixels onto the fabrics. The system comprises a print file defining pixel colors for the individual printing pixels; and a deletion unit which deletes print pixels from the print file wherever a respective pixel color is within a threshold distance of the fabric color. The textile printer then prints the print pixels onto the fabric to form a colored image without printing any of the deleted pixels.

The invention relates to an embedded system for printing on colored background based on automatic generation of white underbase including printing ink separations. The system comprising: an embedded apparatus for receiving input data respecting an image printable on the colored background. The image constitutes a color or a grayscale containing transparency information. The apparatus processes the input data and outputs white underbase information including printing ink separation; a dual-acting device capable of acting in a first aspect as a plate making or film generating means in respect of offline printing, and in a second aspect acting as a print controller in respect of online printing. A producing method for a print by a printing system including a printing device that is manually moved with respect to a medium to perform printing on the medium, the producing method including prompting a user to designate a print plan size of a print image, printing the print image in the print plan size, and notifying a size of the print image printable in one pass by the printing device to the user before the print plan size is decided.

A set of computer-readable instructions, when executed by a computer in an information processing device, causes the information processing device to perform: a setting process; and in response to receiving a print instruction in which a cut print setting is set: a generation process; and a transmission process. The setting process sets the cut print setting for printing an image on a sheet and dividing the printed sheet at a center position thereof. An image processing apparatus includes a setting unit configured to set a target region, a first acquisition unit configured to acquire a plurality of texture data for applying a metal representation on an image, a second acquisition unit configured to acquire an output condition when outputting the target region, a selection unit configured to select texture data based on the output condition, and an application unit configured to apply, to the target region, the texture data selected by the selection unit.
