Foam article with enhanced properties
A foam article, such as a cushioning element for an article of footwear, apparel or sporting equipment is provided that comprises a foam component, such as a midsole, having a number of beneficial physical characteristics. The cushioning element is a low-density foamed component with a surface skin that encases the remaining foam volume. The cushioning element has a number of foam volumes, arranged to achieve a more consistent foam component. Additionally, the cushioning element includes a series of concentric ridges extending radially outwardly from injection gate vestige locations, and a number of striation bands near the perimeter of the cushioning element. The location of the gate vestiges can be beneficially arranged to produce intersecting flow boundaries that are located away from key strain areas of the cushioning element. The cushioning element is more environmentally-friendly, requiring less energy to produce while still providing acceptable energy return and low density.
WIRELESS COMMUNICATION DEVICE HAVING A STIFFNESS ALTERING STRUCTURE
In some embodiments, a radio frequency identification (RFID) device may include a reactive strap may include a conductor enclosing an area and an RFID chip connected to the conductor, the conductor enclosing an area and defining a first opening, and a flexible substrate attached to the conductor and defining a second opening. The first and second openings together may define a passage through both the conductor and the flexible backing material.
CONFIGURING A SET OF APPLETS ON A BATTERY-LESS TRANSACTION CARD
A transaction card may power on the transaction card using electric current induced from an interaction of the transaction card with an electromagnetic field. The transaction card may establish a communication with a device. The communication may indicate that the transaction card has powered. The transaction card may receive, from the device, a set of instructions to configure a set of applets on the transaction card after notifying the device that the transaction card has powered on. The set of applets to be configured may be related to completing one or more different transactions. The set of applets to be configured may be different than another set of applets already configured on the transaction card. The transaction card may configure the set of applets on the transaction card according to the set of instructions after receiving the set of instructions.
Embedded electronic circuit in grinding wheels and methods of embedding
A bonded abrasive wheel is disclosed comprising a plurality of abrasive particles disposed in a binder, a first grinding surface, a second surface opposing the first grinding surface, and an outer circumference. The wheel comprises a rotational axis extending through a central hub and a circuit configured as a Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) unit coupled to the abrasive wheel. The circuit comprises an antenna configured to communicate with one or more external devices and comprising a first end and a second end, wherein antenna has a radius of curvature about an axis along at least a portion thereof such that the first end is disposed adjacent to but is spaced from the second end, and an integrated circuit (IC) operably coupled to the antenna and configured to store at least a first data.
Connecting component with built-in radio frequency identification element
A connecting component with built-in radio frequency identification element which includes a main body and a radio frequency identification element is provided. The main body has a cylindrical body part and a head, wherein the body part has a connecting end and a free end; the head is connected to the connecting end, and the maximum outer diameter thereof is greater than an outer diameter of the body part; the head has an accommodating hole, and an opening of the accommodating hole is formed at a top of the head; the radio frequency identification element can be inserted into the accommodating hole. When the connecting component is used to fixedly connect the rigid object, the radio frequency electronic component provides a space to store database; with the radio frequency identification reader, industry can read the data at any time during the inspection or the maintenance stages, which improves the convenience of obtaining data and the efficiency of operation.
System and Method of Notifying an Owner of a Blocking Vehicle
This disclosure relates generally to the field of wireless communication technology and more particularly to a system and a method of notifying an owner of a blocking vehicle.
In one embodiment, a Block Notification System for notifying an owner of a blocking vehicle is disclosed. The Block Notification System comprises a processor and a memory communicatively coupled to the processor. The memory stores processor instructions, which, on execution, causes the processor to detect a RFID card of a user, wherein the RFID card of the user comprises vehicle information associated with a vehicle owned by the user. The processor further validates whether the RFID card of the user is associated with a blocked vehicle, wherein the blocked vehicle is a vehicle being blocked by the blocking vehicle. The processor further notifies an owner of the blocking vehicle based on validating the RFID card of the user.
Method of providing data integrity
Provided herein is a system involving the utilization of a low-power device that is programmed to capture data from a source, whether from a sensor or other type of data generating component, with the data capture and/or further data transfer set within a specific time period and further data storage platform having programmed storage compartments uniformly set to meet the exact date and time for which the data capture and/or transfer was initially undertaken. Having a known value of storage capacity for each timed data packet in this manner, the ability to ensure veracity of the transferred data is provided since any result that does not meet the time frame and thus the storage capacity set from the programmed platform itself will result in a quarantine of any problematic data packet, thus allowing for filtering and review of any unexpected data captured and transferred in such a manner.
READING OF RADIO FREQUENCY IDENTIFICATION TAG
The application discloses a radio frequency identification (RFID) tag reading system, an RFID reading-writing apparatus and an RFID tag reading method. According to an embodiment of the RFID tag reading system, an RFID tag is attached to a side surface of a sample vessel and stores preset information indicating a unique identity of one or more biological samples loaded in the sample vessel. When an RFID reading-writing apparatus and the sample vessel are arranged on a same bench, and a distance between the RFID reading-writing apparatus and the RFID tag is less than or equal to a preset induction distance, the RFID reading-writing apparatus can read the preset information stored in the RFID tag through an induction field which is generated on a side of the RFID reading-writing apparatus and can emit radio frequency signals along a substantially horizontal direction.
