20180005342 · 2018-01-04 ·

An example method is described in which a processor receives a first plurality of symbols selected from a first set of symbols, translates the first plurality of symbols into a second plurality of symbols selected from an M-ary cyclic symbol set, and writes the second plurality of symbols to a surface. An additional example method is described in which a processor captures an image of at least a portion of a surface, detects a first plurality of symbols from the image, where the first plurality of symbols comprises symbols selected from an M-ary cyclic symbol set, translates the first plurality of symbols into a second plurality of symbols selected from a second set of symbols, and performs at least one task responsive to the second plurality of symbols.

Systems, methods, apparatuses, and computer program products for using a web browser extension or plug-in component to receive scanned barcode data. One method may include validating, by a computing device, machine-readable data, generating, by a computing device, at least one event based upon the validated machine-readable data, and publishing, by the computing device, the at least one event according to a rendering component.

METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR IDENTIFYING TOOLS

A method and a system for identifying tools intended for tools comprising a marking provided with at least one optically readable symbol. The system comprises, in particular, one or more image capture devices covering a checking area and a calculator. Several tools are positioned by an operator in the checking area, then an image of the checking area is captured by each image capture device. Next, at least one complete symbol is detected in at least one image by an image processing operation carried out by the calculator, and one or more detected tools corresponding respectively to a detected complete symbol are identified. Finally, a list comprising each detected tool is determined.

METHOD OF IDENTIFYING AN ITEM, WASTE SEPARATION AND ITEM COMPRISING A DOT CODE

A method of identifying an item includes: capturing by a camera an image of the item, searching in the image a predefined dot start and end codes, determining in the image directions of the predefined dot start and end codes, interpolating in the image a reading line to extend from the predefined dot start code to the predefined dot end code, where a direction of the reading line at the predefined dot start code corresponds to the direction of the predefined dot start code, where the direction of the reading line at the predefined dot end code corresponds to the direction of the predefined dot end code, reading along the reading line the dots from the image, and deriving the identification code from the dots as read along the reading line between the predefined dot start code and the predefined dot end code.

Method and apparatus for processing encoded pattern, storage medium, and electronic apparatus

A method for processing an encoded pattern, a storage medium, and an electronic device are disclosed in this application. An electronic device acquires a first encoded pattern to be recognized, the first encoded pattern being a pattern obtained after predefined information is encoded therein. The electronic device increases resolution of the first encoded pattern through a target model to obtain a second encoded pattern, the target model being obtained through training by using a predetermined third encoded pattern as an input and a predetermined fourth encoded pattern as an output, the third encoded pattern being obtained by decreasing resolution of the fourth encoded pattern, the third and the first encoded patterns being encoded in the same manner. Finally, the electronic device decodes the second encoded pattern using a code recognition module to obtain the predefined information. This application resolves the technical problem that an encoded pattern cannot be accurately recognized.

A method for processing an encoded pattern, a storage medium, and an electronic device are disclosed in this application. An electronic device acquires a first encoded pattern to be recognized, the first encoded pattern being a pattern including predefined information encoded therein. The electronic device increases resolution of the first encoded pattern through a target model to obtain a target encoded pattern having a target resolution and corrects an edge of a sub-pattern in the target encoded pattern to obtain a second encoded pattern. Finally, the electronic device decodes the second encoded pattern using a code recognition module to obtain the predefined information. This application resolves the technical problem that an encoded pattern cannot be accurately recognized.
