A display device is disclosed that includes a plurality of pixels and a plurality of code pixels. The pixels include light-emitting elements, which display an image. The code pixels are disposed in the same layer as the pixels and are adjacent to a reference point disposed between the pixels. The code pixels include infrared light-emitting elements, which emit infrared light. At least one of the code pixels, disposed in a particular direction from the reference point, emit the infrared light to provide a code pattern having position information.

Mobile wireless terminals, such as vehicles in traffic, can determine the relative positions of other vehicles with improved precision by arranging to acquire GNSS (global navigational satellite system) signals simultaneously, and then analyzing the various data sets differentially. Simultaneous acquisition can cancel many important errors such as motional errors of the vehicles, atmospheric distortions, and satellite timebase errors. Differential analysis to determine the relative positions of vehicles (as opposed to their overall geographical coordinates) can reduce errors related to satellite ephemeris and velocity, as well as roundoff errors. Localization with a precision of less than 1 meter can greatly improve collision avoidance while discriminating near-miss scenarios from imminent collisions, according to some embodiments. Messaging examples, in 5G and 6G, to manage the simultaneous acquisition and differential analysis, are provided in examples. Many other aspects are disclosed.

Systems and methods for securely generating and printing documents are disclosed. For example, processor(s) of a computer system may receive information for the document from a computing device through a network, verify the information for the document, and upon verification, generate document generation data using at least a portion of the information for the document. The document generation data may include document metadata that enables generation of an image of the document and/or the image of the document. Upon the processor(s) verifying first authentication information of a first code associated with a printing device received from the computing device through the network and second authentication information of a second code associated with the computing device received from the printing device through the network, the processor(s) may transmit the document generation data to the printing device through the network, and cause the printing device to print the image of the document.

A system and method for performing a secure data transfer between computing devices comprise registering a resource-constrained computing device with a cloud-based computer. A client computing device generates session state information regarding the client computing device in an electronic communication exchange with at least one remote computing device. An identifier provides a location of the session state information stored at a cloud-based computer. A machine-readable code associated with the identifier is displayed for querying the cloud for the stored session state information. The resource-constrained computing device uses the machine-readable code to retrieve the session state information. The resource-constrained computing device uses the session state information to join the electronic communication exchange. Alternatively, in lieu of a machine-readable code, a cryptography process is performed, which includes generating a public cryptographic certificate associated with an immutable identifier of a portable device to be integrated in the exchange.

A method for tracking physical assets can include: receiving a digital asset; determining an asset identifier for the digital asset; generating an asset barcode; optionally facilitating printing and sending of the asset to an asset recipient; determining an asset event for the asset; and notifying a sender of an asset event.

An electronic device including a processor and a display device is disclosed. The processor is configured to receive data and to generate at least one code according to an angular display algorithm. The at least one code includes an angular profile of the data. The display device is coupled to the processor and configured to receive the at least one code from the processor and to display the at least one code according to the angular profile. The angular profile includes a plurality of light intensities corresponding to a plurality of viewing angles. A number of the at least one code is adjusted according to a security of the data, and when the number of the at least one code increases, the number of the plurality of viewing angles to display the at least one code increases.

An automated system/method for identifying and enabling viewer selection/purchase of products or services associated with digital content presented on a display device. Products within the digital content are identified and existing product placement data is ascertained. For products that do not include such data, other methodologies, with the assistance of third-party servers, are employed to assess identity and purchase availability. Viewer input designate products to assess or products can be automatically assessed. Viewers initiate purchase of identified products via the display device or other electronic devices controlled by viewers, such as via viewers' smart phones. Various processes for identifying products include use of AI processing, access to data on third-party servers, crowd sourcing and other methodologies. Various techniques for selecting products for purchases are employed including employing 3D codes (e.g., QR codes) alongside presented products to enable other portable electronic devices to facilitate purchase. Systems/techniques that can facilitate video/animated QR codes are provided. In various aspects, a processor can identify a QR code. In various instances, the processor can decompose the QR code into a static fragment and a plurality of dynamic fragments. The static fragment can be a portion of the QR code that contains sufficient information to facilitate an online transaction, whereas the plurality of dynamic fragments can be a plurality of portions of the QR code that collectively contain sufficient information to facilitate an offline transaction. In various instances, the processor can sequentially render a plurality of frames on an electronic display, where each frame depicts the static fragment and a corresponding one of the plurality of dynamic fragments. Accordingly, a point-of-sale device can facilitate an online transaction by scanning one frame rendered by the processor, and/or can facilitate an offline transaction by scanning all frames rendered by the processor.

Systems and methods for securely generating and printing documents are disclosed. For example, processor(s) of a computer system may receive information for the document from a computing device through a network, verify the information for the document, and upon verification, generate document generation data using at least a portion of the information for the document. The document generation data may include document metadata that enables generation of an image of the document and/or the image of the document. The embodiments herein relate to a network device, an access point and methods thereof for facilitating connection to a WiFi network. The method performed by the network device includes: detecting an access point provided with a service set identifier (SSID); connecting to said access point using said SSID; performing an authentication process towards an authentication and control server for verifying a unique certificate of the network device, which is paired with a corresponding certificate in said server; and in case the authentication process is successful, generating a unique identification information for enabling a user equipment to scan said unique identification information.
