INTEGRATED CIRCUIT PROTECTION METHOD, AND CORRESPONDING INTEGRATED CIRCUIT
An integrated circuit includes a number of components disposed at a surface of a semiconductor body and an interconnect region connecting the components into a functional circuit. A metallic shield is also produced in the interconnect region. A configurable stage is configurable to operate in a receiving antenna configuration or in a detection configuration during which the integrated circuit is configured to detect a presence of an external electromagnetic radiation representative of an attack by injection of faults
APPARATUS FOR SECURING AND STORING PAYMENT CARD
An apparatus for securing and storing a payment card having a hollow container body with a back side for mounting to a vehicle. A lockable door attached to the front of the container body provides controlled access by a user to an interior chamber within the container body, said interior chamber serving as a secure compartment for storing a payment card. A retractable tether line couples the payment card to the interior chamber of the container body. A retractable spool that is biased to retract the tether line is mounted within a spool housing. The spool housing may be attached to the interior chamber or alternatively, to a proximal end of the payment card. A user-actuated trigger is attached to the spool housing and is configured to allow a user to apply tension to the tether line to halt the extension and retraction of the tether line.
Systems and methods for a connector assembly
A connector assembly is provided. The connector assembly includes a connector body, a movable component selectively movable between an uninstalled state and an installed state, a digital tag, and a digital blocker. When the movable component is moved from the uninstalled state to the installed state, the digital blocker is moved relative to the digital tag from a position where the digital tag is blocked by the digital blocker to a position where the digital tag is unblocked by the digital blocker, thereby providing a digital indication of a successful connection between the connector body and the movable component.
Flexible foldable chip card with improved security
A flexible chip card such as a credit card or a debit card that incorporates a protective layer that precludes unauthorized access to the chip in the chip card. The protective layer is a highly conductive layer that shields the chip and prevents electromagnetic waves that may be emitted by an illicit device from accessing the chip. This protective layer thus prevents any unauthorized persons from obtaining confidential information from the chip card that may then be used to consummate fraudulent transactions or conduct other illicit activities. In one embodiment, the flexible chip card includes one or more stiffening structures to provide rigidity to the chip card.
DEVICE FOR STORING AT LEAST ONE OBJECT
A device for storing at least one object which is designed for wireless communication, in particular for storing one or more debit cards, includes a hollow chamber in which the object can be positioned and which is at least partially shielded from electromagnetic waves of a surrounding environment by a shielding layer. In order to place an object arranged in the device in a non-readable state from a readable state in a particularly simple manner, it is provided that an external antenna for wirelessly communicating with equipment arranged in an environment surrounding the device and an internal antenna for wirelessly communicating with an object arranged in the hollow chamber are provided, wherein the internal antenna can be electrically connected to the external antenna in a reversible manner via an electric switch in order to enable a wireless communication between the equipment and the object.
DOCUMENT WITH SHIELDING
In an aspect, the present invention provides a document, comprising an RFID inlay, a shield element and a support portion, wherein the shield element, the support portion, and the RFID inlay are provided in a stack configuration. Herein, the shield element and an antenna of the RFID inlay are only partially overlapping each other.
Shield element for mounting on an object
A shield element for mounting on an object, in particular a flat object, such as a chip card. The object has a base body, an RFID or NFC transponder, a transponder chip and a coil-shaped transmission antenna connected to the RFID or NFC transponder chip. The shield element has a carrier made of non-conductive material. The carrier has a closed or closable conducting path which, upon mounting the shield element on the object, shields the object from the electromagnetic fields generated by an external reading device and directed at the transmission antenna of the RFID or NFC transponder chip.
PASSIVE RFID TAG WITH EMBEDDED SENSOR INTERFACE
A CMOS analog sensor interface circuit embedded in a passive RFID platform can provide accurate data conversion from analog signals to their digital representations. This interface can also utilize the RFID platform to achieve wireless data transmission. The disclosed sensor interface circuit includes signal filtering, signal amplification, as well as signal digitization. These circuits are all designed under the constraints of low-power operation on a noisy silicon substrate. By using the disclosed circuit design, fully passive wireless sensing network that can integrate with heterogeneous sensors (resistance, voltage, current types) can be designed. The advantages of low-cost, small feature size, and the ability to interface with analog sensors can enable large-scale deployment of such kind of RFIDs, both for consumer electronics like in-door monitoring and industrial sensing applications like the grid, electric vehicle, motor, and other critical infrastructures.
RFID Financial Device
Various switchable RFID devices are disclosed. These switchable RFID devices may include one or more RFID tags and one or more switches. Some of these one or more switches are optionally wireless. In various embodiments, the switchable RFID devices include cellular phones, security devices, identity devices, financial devices, remote controls, and the like. In some embodiments, switches are configured to enter data into a switchable RFID device, for example to select a financial account. Switches are optionally configured to program the RFID device or to operate as sensors.
Secure Mobile Devices
A mobile device includes a body configured to be worn by a user; a lock switchable between an open state and a closed state, where, when the lock is in the closed state, the mobile device is prevented from being removed from the user; and a wireless data system, where the wireless data system and the lock are jointly configured such that, when the lock is open, the wireless data system is at least partially disabled.
