COMPUTER CONFIGURED TO DISPLAY MULTIMEDIA CONTENT
A computer can comprise a housing, a microprocessor disposed within the housing, a display, and a communication interface communicatively coupled to the microprocessor. The computer can be configured, responsive to locating decodable indicia within content viewable on the display, to decode the decodable indicia to produce at least one decoded message. The computer can be further configured to display the content with decoded message data being embedded into the content. The decoded message data can be provided by at least one decoded message, data derived from the decoded message.

Systems and methods for barcode annotations for digital images
A content-based image retrieval (CBIR) system and method is presented herein. The CBIR system generates a relatively short vector or array of data, referred to as a barcode, from an input image. The short vector or array data can be used to represent the content of the image for image retrieval purposes. The system obtains the image and applies a transform to the image to generate a plurality of image transform values. The system thresholds the plurality of image transform values to obtain compact image transform values. The system generates a barcode in accordance with the compact image transform values and representative of the image. The system may then transmit the barcode to a database for storage or draw the barcode on a display. The system may also compare barcodes to find and retrieve similar images associated with similar barcodes.
Gaming chip with a stripe pattern and management system for identification of the gaming chip based on imaging
A management system includes a recording device recording an image of a gaming chip and an inspection device determining a type and authenticity of the gaming chip. The gaming chip has a multilayer structure in which both sides of a colored layer are sandwiched between light color layers, surface printing representing a type of the gaming chip is performed on outer sides of the light color layers, and an authenticity recognition mark is printed on the colored layer of an inside of the light color layers by an infrared absorbing material. A visible light camera photographs a visible light image of the surface printing, and an infrared light camera photographs an infrared image of the internal printing. The inspection device determines the type and authenticity of the gaming chip using the visible light image and the infrared image.
Containers, packages, production systems, and distribution systems
The present invention relates to a container, a package, a production system, and a distribution system. The container comprises a first identification and a second identification. The first identification is unique for identifying the container and is not exposed. The second identification is unique for identifying the container and is accessible. The second identification is different from the first identification. The second identification is associated with the first identification. The distribution system comprises a processor and a memory. The memory includes instructions causing the processor to perform operations. The operations include: inputting a first identification and a second identification of a first container, wherein the first identification and the second identification are different from each other and are unique for identifying the first container, the first identification is not exposed, and the second identification is accessible; and associating the second identification and the first identification.
Printing inspection device
To obtain a printing inspection device that an optimum binarization threshold value in the printing inspection device that captures an image including a two-dimensional code printed by a general-purpose printer such as an ink jet printer, as a multi-level image, creates a binary image from the multi-level image with a predetermined binarization threshold value, and then performs decoding. Before a practical printing inspection is performed, a read test is performed. The read test is performed on one or more inspection samples by binarizing a multi-level image with brightness values for all gradations as a threshold value. A range (maximum value and minimum value) of readable brightness values is obtained, and then a median value between the minimum value and the maximum value is used as a binarization threshold value for a two-dimensional code image in a practical printing inspection.
DISPLAY SYSTEM AND DISPLAY METHOD
A display system includes a plurality of tags and a detection device. Each tag of the plurality of tags stores an identification code for identifying that tag, generates electric power upon receiving light that contains identification information to be compared with the identification code, and emits light using the electric power of that tag when the identification information contained in the received light matches the identification code. The detection device generates image data in accordance with an input of the identification information on a selected article, projects scanning light containing identification information on the position of the tag extracted from the generated image data, and, when emitted light from any of the plurality of tags is detected from the image data acquired during a period in which the scanning light is projected, projects marking light within a range attached with the tag that has emitted light.
Apparatus and method for deploying a mobile device as a data source in an IoT system
An example Internet of Things (IoT) sensor application hosted on a mobile device is configured to add the mobile device as a data sensor or source in the IoT system. The IoT sensor application is configured to provide an interface between an input or output component of the mobile device and a data pipeline or application and/or to cloud data storage associated with an IoT system. The IoT sensor application is configured to connect to an edge device of the IoT system and search for a data source identifier associated with the type of data source component, and corresponding application(s) and/or data pipeline(s) to which the data source is connected. Once connected, the IoT sensor application provides captured data to or receives processed or playback data from the data source.
