SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR REAL-TIME VIRTUAL GIFT CARD PURCHASING
A computer-implemented method for allowing purchase of virtual gift cards includes receiving a communication indicating a gift card type and specifying a value amount. Responsive to the communication, a purchase of a virtual gift card of that type and storing that value amount is processed. This processing includes processing a payment for the specified value amount. Further, a gift card merchant application programming interface (API) capable of processing a purchase of a virtual gift card of the indicated gift card type is identified from amongst a set of such APIs. That API is used to initiate purchase of the virtual gift card. After the purchase is processed, an indication of the purchased virtual gift card is sent to a mobile computing device. The mobile computing device uses the indication to configure itself to allow transactions using the purchased virtual gift card to be initiated. Fraud detection may also be performed.
E-TICKET AND E-COUPON, GAME SYSTEM AND METHOD BASED ON E-TICKET AND E-COUPON
A game system and game method wherein an e-ticket is displayed before the start of a game and contains a plurality of game indexes, an open code containing encrypted information about a combination of winning indexes stored on a game server, and information about prizes for a successful search. The user identifies the game indexes in the e-ticket and sends the indexes from the terminal to the game server. The game server compares the indexes, determines the result of the game, and sends an e-coupon to the terminal containing the indexes, the result of the game and an encryption key. The e-coupon allows the user to obtain their prize and/or check on a public resource that the result of encrypting the combination of winning indexes using the aforesaid key matches the open code, and that any alteration of the key and/or the combination of winning indexes corrupts the open code.
Method for issuing authorisation tickets in an intelligent transport system
The present application discloses a method of issuing pseudonymous authorisation tickets to nodes of a cooperative ITS, for signing messages, comprising: receiving a ticket request from a node in an authorisation server, and sending a validation request to an enrolment server, conducting a validity check in the enrolment server, and, when the validity check is passed, incrementing a counter value of a counter assigned to an account at an account server enrolled with the enrolment server for the requesting node, sending a validation message to the authorisation server, and issuing a pseudonymous authorisation ticket from the authorisation server to the requesting node, repeating the aforementioned steps until a predetermined charging period expires, and, upon expiry, sending, from the enrolment server to the authorisation server, said counter value, and sending a charging request calculated from said counter value from the authorisation server to the account server for charging said account.
Device, system and method for mode-based synchronization of data records
A device, system and method for mode-based synchronization of data records is provided. Booking data is received, at one or more computing devices, from one of a first and second client device. When received from the first client device, in a first order mode for the booking data, the device(s): cause an order management system (OMS) to generate: order data at a first database; and cause a legacy system to generate a corresponding passenger name record (PNR) at a second database, the corresponding PNR being slaved to the order data. When received from the second client device, in a legacy mode for the booking data, the device(s): cause the legacy system to generate, a PNR and/or ticket data at the second database; and cause the OMS to generate corresponding order data at the first database, the corresponding order data being slaved to the PNR and/or the ticket data.
Method and system for distributing electronic tickets with visual display for verification
This invention discloses a novel system and method for distributing electronic ticketing such that the ticket is verified at the entrance to venues by means of an animation or other human perceptible verifying visual object that is selected by the venue for the specific event. Tins removes the need to use a bar-code scanner on an LCD display of a cell phone or other device and speeds up the rate at which human ticket takers can verify ticket holders.
BLOCKCHAIN-BASED ADMISSION PROCESSES FOR PROTECTED ENTITIES
Arrangements for controlling access to a protected entity include receiving a redirected client request to access the protected entity that includes a public key of the client; granting, in response to the received redirected request, access tokens of a first type to a client using the public key of the client; identifying a conversion transaction identifying a request to convert the first type of access tokens with access tokens of a second type, the transaction designating the protected entity; determining a conversion value for converting the first-type access tokens into second-type access tokens based on at least one access parameter; converting, using the conversion value, a first sum of the first-type access tokens into a second sum of second-type access tokens; and granting the client access to the protected entity when the sum of second-type of access tokens is received as a payment from the protected entity.
Proximity-Based Secure Communication System and Method for Digital Transactions
The present disclosure discloses a proximity-based secure communication system and method for digital transactions. The system comprises: a slave terminal with a near field communication (NFC) radio frequency communication channel, wherein the slave terminal remains in the listening mode in the NFC radio frequency communication channel; and a master electronic device with an NFC radio frequency communication channel. The slave terminal is configured to send an Answer-to-Reset (ATR) to the master electronic device when, by proximity, the slave terminal detects the activation of the NFC radio frequency channel. The slave terminal and the master electronic device exchange Application Protocol Data Unit (APDU) commands that represent a digital transaction by means of the NFC radio frequency channel, such that the master electronic device sends request APDU commands to the slave terminal, and the master electronic device receives reply APDU commands from the slave terminal.
System and method for implementing market data rights enforcement
An embodiment of the present invention is directed to delivering an entitlements model that scales to both mid-frequency and low-latency use cases. The innovative solution may be distributed in nature and able to operate in low priority threads alongside the main logic of the software. An embodiment of the present invention may be implemented as a software module with APIs for ease of adoption.
System and method for utilizing vouchers to facilitate purchases in association with a gaming establishment retail account
A system and method that utilize a ticket voucher complete one or more purchases of goods and/or services from a retail establishment.
